So I’ve started with prostate play maybe 4 weeks ago. I’ve been doing a lot of reading and experimenting. I am able to trigger what I believe are involuntaries (pulses and flutters as well as some in and out motions of the aneroid). However the only way for me to sustain the involuntary feeling is to consciously relax or slight contract to retrigger it. Is that normal or should I do something else? If I just completely relax the involuntaries die out relatively soon.

also when I do start to get a good rhythm I get this feeling in my abs and pelvis and then start shaking and if it keeps going it leads to these serious convulsions. Like flopping all over the bed from my back to my side to my stomach my arms and especially legs are all over the place. Every muscles just spasming out and me groaning uncontrollably. This is definitely pleasurable but I wouldn’t call it floating and losing myself as I’m aware of what’s going on to an extent and I’ve read a lot that you’ll know when it’s a super o and it will feeling like you’re floating away.

also I almost never get an erection and hardly any Precum leaks out when this is happening

  1. any insight would be appreciated on how to progress. Am I close? Did I get to a super o and just not know it for me

Welcome 🙂

Yes it’s Normal. No,don’t necessarily change things. Things are going well. Whatever you are doing to keep the pleasure going, keep doing it!!

You are already in super o territory. As experience grows, these spasms will happen ‘in the background’ and your mind will not focus so sharply on them,so your mind will be able to float away. It’s more the mind that needs to relax than the body. When the spasms are in full swing, just let the world fall away, let conscious thoughts empty from your head and float away you shall. Don’t ask questions like “is this it?” “Will I float away?” This is actually an anxious state, and that’s counter productive. Enjoy what’s happening as it happens and don’t look to far ahead. You’ve made fabulous progress.

Don’t need erection. Not at all. Pre Cum is normal and a good sign.

Yes,you’ve had a super-o,just let the brain catch up on it’s rewiring. Take you time,no rush.

You are very much on the right track... great job so far.

At the start I also used to flop around but as times goes on you learn to control it and relax even more... it is very much a mental thing to get to the next stage.

Try putting on some meditation music while doing your sessions and focus on breathing and relaxing and not to tense up the muscles / holding your breathe.

Looks like you are on the right track tho.

(If you want to go to the next level THC will do that) but don't get into  habit of using it all the time... once every month or so for a special session.

You could also have a look into erotic hypnosis to help with the relaxation and learning to get into trance like states.. it's actually very very similar feelings that are produced compared to the aneros and greatly helped my journey.

Shibbysays is regarded as one of the best... can just google reddit shibbysays and welcome to a new world.

Also stop masturbation will help a huge amount.

Thanks for the great feedback. It’s very appreciated and helpful and will definitely keep all this info in my mind. A couple follow ups are about the actual orgasm feeling. It’s encouraging to know I’m in the super o territory. I’ve read from other threads some people describing their experience as feeling like the are cumming for minutes but without actually ejaculating. Is this the end goal? While I definitely feel pleasure during my involuntaries and shaking and can keep that going for several minutes I never have felt like I am cumming or about to ejaculate. I also barely have any precum. Is that a bad sign that I don’t “leak” more and can I do anything or should I do anything to help that or is that unnecessary?

Also, I think I am having trouble letting my Mike fully relax because I am keeping it focused on propelling the involuntaries along. If I just completely relax I feel they eventually die out. I guess I need to find that sweet spot and that will happen with practice?

lastly, I’m mostly using the program and mgx. Should I stay with those or maybe anything else?

Thats what I’m talking about, you are still quite ‘wide-eyed’ with new discoveries and hyper-focus on being afraid to let things go in case they go away. You’ll figure it out with practice and patience. As I said, enjoy the pleasure as it happens and let it grow. Another avenue is that when your in the involuntary vortex, try letting off and enjoy them while they last,if they wane, just restart them with whatever technique you use to start them 🙂

Theres no incessant need for other toys at the moment,of course,if money is no object, nothing stops you amassing the collection over time and experimenting with the different models.

Excellent, I wish more newbies would take advantage of the information database compiled on this Forum, especially the Aneros WIKI. I agree with what @Helghast & @Jiji2000 said above.

Yes it is normal, please see @Helghast 's thread A simple prostate orgasm tutorial. for a general discussion of the pelvic floor muscles, how to find & employ them toward prostate orgasm and the concept of "anchored tension".

I suggest you re-read the Aneros WIKI definition of a Super-O. It sounds like you definitely had one so congratulations on that but know this, every individual will react differently to prostate stimulation and orgasms can be quite diverse in how they are perceived. Over time your orgasms will likely change and evolve as you learn to strike a good balance between anchored tension and relaxation to allow you to drift into the 'Calm Seas of Orgasm'.

This is totally normal and nothing to worry about, your penile state does not affect your ability to experience Super-O's.

Am I close? Did I get to a super o and just not know it for me?

You are there man, just carry on with with what you are doing and don't try to over analyze during your Anerosession.

Posted by: @man1234

I’ve read from other threads some people describing their experience as feeling like the are cumming for minutes but without actually ejaculating. Is this the end goal?

You get to set your goals but understand this, each man's experience of Super-O's is going to be unique to him so please don't try to compare/equate your experience to other's.

I also barely have any precum. Is that a bad sign that I don’t “leak” more and can I do anything or should I do anything to help that or is that unnecessary?

NO, it is not a "...bad sign...", it merely reflects your individual reaction (please see the user poll How much precum (Cowper's gland secretion) do you produce? for some further reference to your fellow Aneros users.) While there are some dietary supplements that may increase precum and/or semen output, they are not likely to increase your perceived level of pleasure.

Posted by: @man1234

I guess I need to find that sweet spot and that will happen with practice?

Yes, as I mentioned above your Aneros journey will evolve over time as you become more experienced and proficient at entering the 'O'zone.

Should I stay with those or maybe anything else?

The old saying "If it ain't broke, don't fix it!" may apply here but being the curious, novelty seeking, monkeys we are you'll be tempted to try other models. If you can afford them there is no harm in experimenting with the other models. Each model has it's own response characteristics and it is mostly a matter of preference as to which model will work 'best?' for you.

Good Vibes to You!

Is this the end goal?

Perhaps shorten your end goal time horizon to that of the session.  My implicit goal in each session is to enjoy whatever may come to me.

While I definitely feel pleasure during my involuntaries and shaking and can keep that going for several minutes I never have felt like I am cumming or about to ejaculate.

With exposure you’re finding out how your body and mind can feel and manipulate a new model of pleasure, one you may not have felt before.  So I am not surprised that you’ve never felt it as cumming or as about to ejaculate.  You may find that your very own conception of cumming, in time, expands to include the burgeoning sensations from the formation of a more perfect union of your body, mind and Aneros.  With Aneros I haven’t felt a feeling of imminent ejaculation, but that has not mattered to me in light of the other things I do feel.

Welcome here.
