Hi.  I make a lot of precum when my prostate is stimulated.  Actually, I get a lot of precum even thinking about sex sometimes.  It’s just that I make a lot more when my prostate is massaged.  I was wondering if the fluid is all from Cowper’s glands, or if “milking” the prostate causes other fluids to come out, adding to the volume of my “usual” precum.  I’m just curious.

Many men have reported increased precum production as a result of using their Aneros massagers (see the user poll How much precum (Cowper's gland secretion) do you produce?). It is also true that this massaging action can produce a milking action releasing prostatic fluids which can add to the volume of fluids released. This is all quite normal.

However, under the right conditions, this milking action can also cause release of semen from the seminal vesicles and if carried on long enough can completely drain a man making an ejaculatory orgasm difficult if not impossible to achieve in that session. There are numerous threads on this forum which discuss this phenomenon.

Good Vibes to You!

What is the color/consistency of prostatic fluid (from the prostate) and seminal fluid from the seminal vesicles (not from the edidymus) in comparison to precum from Cowper’s gland?  Mine are clear-colorless and very thick and stringy.

Cowpers gland fluid is colorless with a viscosity somewhat like thin light corn syrup and will taste slightly sweet. prostatic fluid is slightly watery may be slightly cloudy and mat have a somewhat zinc metallic taste, seminal fluid is the bulk of semen, it is typically translucent white with a viscosity thicker than either prostate fluid or Cowpers gland fluid. It may have a more neutral taste but have an odor somewhat like dilute bleach.

What you describe sounds like it is mostly Cowpers gland fluid.
