Intro:
Hi! I'll try to condense my context and questions, but bare with me. I got my Aneros Helix Trident about a month and 1/2 ago. I used to believe prostate pleasure was a myth or a 1-in-100 type thing, but after I took the plunge and got the trident, my world changed. I've plateaued though, and I feel stuck, which I know is common. But what do I do?
My first sessions:
I didn't feel anything my first session (1-1/2 hrs), totally normal, and didn't expect to. Later, I wake up that night the most aroused I'd ever been. I was shaking and my nerves all around my groin were electric with activity. I did a session the next day, with the residual arousal from last night, and felt a little bit of dull pleasure as the toy pressed against me. It didn't pulse, bloom, or radiate or anything, though. Progress. My general routine is/was a hot shower to relax, lube up, insert the toy, belly breathe for 10 mins to relax, and then passively wait for something, anything to happen. I lay on my side, back in the "top leg to chest" method Aneros recommends. I also incorporate nipple play, which is both pleasurable by itself and can amplify prostate pleasure- to an extent. I didn't use porn the first few times (images only), but the 4th session I did, and that's also my defining moment. I will note that on my 3rd session, my penis was between my legs (it kept touching the sheets) and it ended up leading to a build of penile/prostate pleasure, and I was mentally able to push myself over the edge, but it wasn't really a prostate orgasm.
My 4th session changed me:
Unbeknownst to me, the planets aligned that day. My roommates were gone, it was warm and quiet in my room, and I felt very aroused. I think the novel sensation of everything made my nerves very sensitive and hungry for stimulation. I did my routine, and immediately I felt a warm pleasure just while inserting. It was like my body was ready to hit the ground running. I had to keep my own body at bay while I calmed myself. Then, I completely relaxed, letting my body do things to me. I instantly went into a P-wave. Lots of tingly, warm, hugging, happy feelings in my pelvic area. I had to belly breathe and calm down as my breathing became ragged. I don't think my body knew how to process the intensity of the sensations. When one P-wave began to subside, another washed over it with even more pleasure. My body was in a loop fueled by its own pleasure. After several P-waves, I was begging my body for a release, but there was no way to "spill over". Eventually, I got a little restless and decided to see how far I could push myself with nipple play. I reached a soft peak, and then I must've overdone it, because I slowly became less sensitive, but I was able to get a last good P-wave in.
This was amazing. It was like the stairway to heaven unfolded in front of me, showing me more than I could ever dream of, but only a taste of it. I was very satisfied and impressed with myself after the session, but this is where I peaked.
My plateau:
After that, I began learning more about involuntary contractions and how to invite a super-O. I began to recognize all the different vibrations, buzzes, pulls, rhythmic sensations, etc. They occurred, and still occur while I'm doing work, laying down, etc, and can reach mini P-wave levels. I tried again a few times after that. Some being ruined by my roommates coming back, calls, loud noises, etc. My sessions were a little fragile. My 5th session was strictly only small contractions. I felt no pleasure. My later sessions focused on relaxing my now-active anus, and focusing on contractions and prostate sensations. Some sessions (lost count) had 2-3 P-waves, maybe more, but they were much less powerful, and most didn't radiate/bloom, so I know I wasn't anywhere close to 4th session levels. I know the feeling of losing yourself to the sensations, where they stop needing to be focused on and become unignorable, almost taking control of you. That feeling is a more rare occurrence now. Later, I realized I was chasing the high of my 4th session, which was kind of a lucky fluke. I was also leaning more on porn to feel aroused, which doesn't maintain the "loop". I refined my mindset and attempted to sparsely use porn, and avoid any negative thoughts. My last 2 sessions have been focused on enjoying the session rather than trying to perform or compare myself, which brings me to the present.
Where I am now:
I just finished a 4 hour session. I feel bad for going so long, and it was supposed to only be ~2 hrs. However, it's probably my second best session yet (still far from the 4th, and not particularly good.) I enjoyed the process, mostly, and had a few P-waves that bloomed and radiated bliss. They were legitimately pleasurable, but that radiating state was mostly achieved from nipple play, if that matters. They were, however, nearly indefinite if I wanted them to be. The rest were mostly some less pleasurable P-waves that I had to focus on to keep going.
My question is, how am I doing? Am I on the right track? How can I improve myself? And, how important is initial arousal? (Do you need to be feral to have a good session?)
Another question (with context) is, within the last 2 sessions, I have developed a strange pelvic floor clench that's automatic, even if I'm totally relaxed. My pelvic floor will (almost unnoticeably) slowly ratchet itself into a 50-70% clench. It then causes these rhythmic "involuntaries" to reactively push and pull the toy up and down a little, sometimes like a see-saw. I don't think it moves much in my ass, from what I can see, but they can feel pretty strong and almost controlling, like a really good P-wave does. They're usually not very pleasurable, but I do get little tingles/buzzes of pleasure when my prostate is blooming/radiating, which causes the contractions to occur more. The clenching comes in waves, I think, and the involuntaries seem to happen more as the waves progress, kinda like P-waves. Since these arent 100% "passive" contractions, I'm not sure if they're actually involuntaries. So, my question is, what is this clench, and what should I do when this happens?
Thanks for reading! Any guidance is appreciated, as I feel like I'm walking blindly at this point. I also accept that this is a journey that will take time, and is one in which the path is non-linear, with highs, lows, and plateaus. At the end of this beginner journey, though, my goal is to achieve a super-O, and then hopefully be rewired enough to do it again.
