Modding with Sugru?

This stuff is supposed to be real easy to work with, like if I wanted to make a big wide "pad" in place of the P-tab (see photo; not something that's been modded, but an example of what I want the tab to be when I'm done), but I also hear its also somewhat pliable after its set, and I don't know if that means it's going to squish out of the shape I wanted it to stay in or not. Have you guys used a mouldable epoxy like Sugru, or some other brand, on your Aneros with any success?
