How often do you remove the Aneros and reapply lube?

I'm using a thick KY jelly, and sometimes it's difficult to tell if the feeling gets intense at times due to the lube drying up in spots, and therefore rubbing more roughly in those areas. Or the build up of intensity that I am actually aiming for. If I find out most people wait at least an hour say, then I will know if it hasn't been an hour, it's most likely not a dry spot.

Based on my personal experience I would replenish lube every 10-15 minutes. I sure wish I did.

I was using water based RFSU lubrication with similar device like Aneros. After 30 minutes I was unable to remove it because lubrication had obviously dried up. I was totally surprised it took such a short time. Pulled it out in panic and I've been in constant pain/discomfort on my anus, rectum and buttocks ever since. This happened to me 7 weeks ago.

I use petroleum jelly or cocoa butter, and I don't reapply at all. This lube stays on for hours.

@Spanishguy69 Everyone is different but you should not have to re-lube after15 minutes. If you inject liquid water based lube (I insert 2.5 to 3 CC) or oil based (I use extra virgin oil, less than 1 CC) and lube up your tool with jelly type lube, you should be good for a few hours. On occasion, I partially pull out the massager to make sure my anus stays nice and wet.

There are plenty of opinions in the Forum and Wiki on this subject. Good luck and enjoy!

my aneros session usually last around 1 hr and i did not re-lube. so far no major discomfort once i knew how to contract correctly. I am using KY lube and the glycerin in it will upset my stomach if i used too much of it.

I only use a water based lub if I am going to have a quick session. For sessions of more than 30 mins I use an oil based massage oil, it lasts all night.
