Hello there!

I am looking to purchase an aneros product and my mind seems set on the Helix model.

I have experience with the vector model by the company "we-vibe" but aneros products seem different in that they might be better suited to have me experience a prostate orgasm (hopefully someday).

I am wondering which material to choose - i.e. whether to get the helix syn trident or the helix classic.

Let me know your thoughts and opinions!

Greatly appreciated,

Mat

Honestly, you cannot go wrong with either model. Flip a coin. The white plastic models are easy to clean and you can use whatever lube you like best...pretty sure they would stand up to wheel bearing grease if that's all you had! (Don't ever try that!) They can be polished to be more like ice models or to remove scratches. Excellent material choice.

My Aneros 'team" contains a Eupho Syn Trident and a helix SynV. I thoroughly enjoy the feel of silicone devices, but you do have to be very careful not to use any lubes that can damage the silicone. This completely rules out silicone lube or in a pinch, petroleum jelly. Just my preference here, but I like the way the syn tabs feel against my perineum and k-spot. A disadvantage to the syn models is they are lint magnets. If you put one in your pocket, you will have to rinse it off before use because everything in that pocket will cling to the silicone. I still like them fine.

Just pick one and work with it. If you purchase more in the future, let it be out of curiosity for a novel experience, not because you talk yourself into thinking that other shape or material is your ticket past the roadblock to  super-o.

Good luck!

I agree with regal, the Syn models have an interesting "touch", but they are dust-magnets and the silicone retains a weird odor that's hard to wash out. The hard plastic of the classic models is much easier to live with. When you clean them, they feel satisfyingly "squeaky" clean... where the silicone leaves you wondering if it needs another wash.

I'd say get get the plastic versions of the Helix, Eupho, and Progasm. That should tide you over for a few years.

The classic material is a fantastic choice for a first model as it will allow you to experiment with the full range of available lubes. One thing with Aneros devices is that you'll never "outgrow" them, every buy is a good buy.

Be careful, they can be addictive! I have 10 models in various finishes, a great majority of which I use in each session according to the desire of the moment.

Far and beyond my favorite material is the original white plastic. It has always given me a satisfactory experience and the widest selection of lube choices. It's also my favorite texture for the Progasm and really brings that model alive. You can't go wrong with it!

Everyone is different, but for me the classic MGX is my go to model. Many rave about the Helix. Based on that I ordered one and got absolutely nothing from it. After years of trying, I threw it out. The Progasm hurt like hell.  I had radiation treatment for prostate cancer which left my prostrate a mass of scar tissue. Couldn't take the aggressive pressure from the classic Progasm.  I found a Doc Johnson  Moody 2 butt plug made of silicone that had a shape and tip similar to the Progasm's. The softer silicone made all the difference in comfort. It gave a nice full feeling and an aggressive yet more gentle massage. That plug gives great anal orgasms and is pliable enough to were you could sit and grind on it for nice chairgasms. I've also walk around the house with it inserted to the hilt. That produces some amazing sensations. Like I said, everyone is different and one's physiology will be what dictates which model will work the best.

I personally like the trident and ice models because I like using silicone based lube which you cant use on the syn models. As for which model to choose...I'd say go with a helix or mgx.

My favorite material is silicone - can’t beat the smooth velvet finish as it glides in and stimulates the prostate. My go to models are HelixSynV and Vice2!
