I’m unable to sleep due to repeated, involuntary aless orgasms happening throughout the night. I have them roughly every 5 to 20 minutes, some coming in batches. Sometimes I get woken up by an orgasm.
Since I had the breakthrough, 10 days ago, every night I only get between 1 hour and 4 hours sleep. The problem is my body is doing one of two things:
I actually don’t feel tired at night at all, because the orgasms give me energy. This is obviously counter-productive to sleep.
During the day I also get the buzzing, tingling, throbbing pelvic floor muscles, but I’m able to prevent escalation most of the time since my body isn’t as relaxed.
I’m worried I can’t switch off the cycle I get into at night, and the poor sleep obviously impacts my health. I actually saw my doctor about it, but it was useless - he just didn’t get it.
Ejaculation during the night does not help me. It just stimulates the pelvic floor and prostate more.
I really need this to stop. What’s going on? I need help with this. Has anyone else had similar?
I had the problem when I was "rewired" and I suspect that's what you're gong through. Ejaculation should cure it, at least for a while. If it doesn't work, I'd say do it again. Ejaculate two consecutive days or twice a day if you could pull it off. There's no reason for your prostate to be constantly swelling. Do you have pre-cum during your Aless? Ejaculate at the end of the Aless session should empty your prostate. If not, ejaculate one more time soon after.
@seanyea I’m skeptical about that approach because I think it would be counterproductive. The process stimulates the pelvic floor and I need to stop all sensations there for a while.
My current theory is that it’s related to a ‘coregasm’. This is something people here have reported happening when their core/abs trigger an orgasm, typically when they’re at the gym. I assume this is because the pelvic floor is closely connected to the core.
The reason I say this is because I have very tense abdominals since it started, and the p-orgasms contract the abs intensely, creating a cycle. I also had lower back pain days before this all started, so abdominal muscle compensation could be at play.
I had something similar many years ago (before I even found the Aneros), it's pretty disturbing to feel trapped by orgasm rushes that kick in right as I was about to drift into sleep. At the time, I was big into trying hands-free orgasms and building energy... but I also hit that "Uh-oh, where's the off switch on this?". As well as the sleep issue, I'd sometimes get it stirring up in a car or a bus (and panic that I was going to start having an orgasm in front of other people)... or suddenly get very short flashes like like I was falling or going over a steep hill. It was weird. I didn't have orgasms waking me from sleep though.
What helped me:
Eventually I developed a mental switch that I can't explain, a way of suppressing it. Just this vague placeless "No" button in my brain, that I kinda just found I had. So I'd say don't panic about it, try to adopt a "bored" attitude towards it, and if some feelings surface at some inconvenient time, practice calm distraction and not fueling it. Say "Not now, later" and give it no more attention. And if you can master that a little, then maybe you can master it a lot, and it'll become easy. The trap is to become so alarmed by it, that it becomes all you can focus on in the moment... kind of similar to how a panic attack can feed on itself and spiral.
I haven't had anything like this happen since, and it's been over a decade. So don't think you're stuck this way. I suppose it's one of the crazy things about being on the experimental edge of masturbation, is there ends up being not much information out there. When it was happening to me, I felt like the only person in the world it was happening to.
I'm not sure how much this will help, or what applies to your situation, but I guess just to say you're not alone, and there is hope. I'm surprised there's not more discussion about this as a topic... though there have been a few threads here over the years (search "kundalini" on this forum and you'll find some people who had disconcerting experiences they couldn't switch off).
@clenchy Agree that Aless seems to make one more sensitive and the buzz/tinging harder to stop. Everyone is wired differently obviously, but I'm sure one or more of the ideas you presented will work for OP. For me, although deeply into Aless (which outshines the Aneros devices I have), I've been able to manage the post-play after effect fine for now. It is there most of the time, but it's subtle enough not to impact my sleep or activities.
@clenchy thanks for the detailed reply. It sounds like you had exactly what I’m having now. How long was it before you weren’t affected by it?
Did you have any physical symptoms like a chronically tense abdominal muscles? I have that, and I wonder if it’s only a side affect, or a contributing factor. When the pleasure surges come, they originate in my belly and I can feel the abs tensing up gradually. If I consciously relax the abs, the surge dissipates somewhat.
@syniosis I guess so. I feel a surge developing first in my belly, but often also in my head, chest and legs. This surge builds and builds until the release. The energy remains in my body as if I’ve had a strong coffee.
@syniosis I think by "giving energy", OP just meant the euphoric feeling he's constantly feeling from the orgasms kept him high spirited and energetic although he's also worn out (or concerned he'd be) by the seemingly uncontrollable sensations disrupting his sleep and normal routines.
Another idea to OP. I find it helpful to try to avoid the positions/postures you use for sessions. For example, when you lie down, lay on your side and close your legs. Focus your relaxing/meditation breathing from nostrils to the chest instead of going deep down in the belly etc. Your mind and body will eventually get when to turn on or off the play mode. Good luck.
So, what is this horrible (and barbarically named, from India) Kundalini? It's something amazing but surprising and can be problematic for some; it's an invisible energy present in the earth, we invoke it consciously (or not lol), it rises along the legs (we hardly feel it) until it reaches the coccyx region and there it becomes very active upon encountering the first Chakra called Muladhara (don't panic, it's cool, everything's fine :)). Yogis/monks/magnetizers etc. then use it for various things (healing, visions etc.). The energy is present and we are energy, except that sometimes it's difficult to reconcile. I'm talking about this because I experienced a surge in Kundalini energy while practicing prostate massage. During my sessions, I felt like large, invisible golden bubbles were coming out of me. My first reaction was to think, "Why is it coming out of me? It needs to come back!" So, with my hands, I gathered this energy and put it back inside me... OMG... it was like receiving a powerful electric shock, but it didn't hurt. At the end of the session, I had nervous tics all over my body. I asked (a huge stroke of luck, I must say) my girlfriend, who is "mystical" and very knowledgeable about the subject. After a long discussion, it turned out that I have the skills to be an energy healer/magnetizer because I can feel energy and move it, smooth it out, or expel it from the body if there's an excess. So, @redapplecat, it's possible you have hidden energy (lower down in your body) that activates when you're at peace. Don't forget that Kundalini is called divine energy, and before sleeping, we're generally at peace. This stored, unreleased energy says, "Hmm? Peace? Well-being? Yessss, I'm coming!" If a doctor can't treat you, make an appointment with an energy healer who will unblock you in a single session. If it comes back, take some (light) meditation classes to circulate your own energy throughout your body. Hoping this sheds some light on things (I'm using an automatic translator, I hope the result is understandable) XD
@redapplecat Sorry for my ignorance. I thought you were having something similar to what I had/have. Now, I do think this rewiring thing I'm having is still evolving, and your post got me a little worried. Could I be on the way to your situation? For now, I feel the intervals between my ejaculation and prostate orgasms are shrinking, sometimes only a day or two apart. It's not all voluntary but rather a "nature's call". I suppose I can still control it by distracting myself but it's not going to be a comfortable situation as I'm against the "nature's call".
Please do keep us posted as you're coming to a resolution.
@syniosis thank you for your suggestion. However I don’t believe in mystical energies and chakras. I believe the body’s physiological sensations, processes and responses can be explained using modern science, if not now, then later.
Having said that, I’m not saying ‘energy work’ doesn’t work. It may be our best way to help ourselves, even though the actual processes involved have nothing to do with unproven energies.
Meditation on the other hand is a known technique and proven to help with many things. I’m willing to try this, though I fear when it causes my mind and body to relax, I’d get the surge of p-waves through my body, leading to the inevitable.
Sorry for my ignorance. I thought you were having something similar to what I had/have.
No worries. Of course I’m not able to say for sure how you will respond in the future, but it sounds like you’re close to my state, but within control of it still. My state came suddenly, without any voluntary p-orgasm period (apart from the very first day, but even that was preceded by one or two involuntary orgasms immediately after waking up).
I’m able to now stave off the orgasms for the most part, so my sleep has improved. But I’m still at the ‘nature’s call’ stage, as you put it, and only seconds away from orgasm should I not consciously avoid it. A few slip through sometimes. Very nice, but I’m sure not good for my un-rewiring!
@redapplecat What have you been doing to "starve off the orgasms"?
In my case, the full on Aless only started recently. That's why I'm uncertain where it can take me down the road. What happened was I managed to have 3 super charged Aless sessions 3 times in a row within two days, and finished off with ejaculation at the end of the 3rd session. Felt pretty emptied out but strangely enough the next day I started feeling the tingling again. I tried to ignore it. The day after it got stronger, and I couldn't resist the temptation and let it take me for another ride. It's a more brief and still deep and strong one, but it's less pleasurable and satisfying. And it ended by itself. I realized that it might be some "residue energy" that needed to be exhausted. No major disruptions to my sleep and daily routines so far, but then I feel the "nature's call" is so close and it threatens to make the call whenever I consciously relax (which I do routinely as a meditator). I don't know where this is going. Maybe it'll get more in tune with what I want or it'll get out of control. Figure I'd better be prepared for the latter just in case.
Like you said, it feels "very nice" (an understatement), but we don't want too much of a good thing.
@redapplecat What have you been doing to "starve off the orgasms"?
Stave off, as in prevent it happening. I just try to think of random boring things. Anything but the sensations! Or get up and move about.
By the sounds of it, you should be OK. You’re probably some way off the amount I’ve had the involuntary orgasms. Count yourself lucky it hasn’t troubled your sleep. Enjoy!

I just realize when you say "involuntary orgasms", you mean orgasms without any trigger from your mind? Like it can hit you while you're asleep and wake you up? If so, no I don't have that. I just have this tantalizing tempting tingling like all the time, and I have to use some willpower to not follow the nature's call just because it calls too often.
Hello,
This is what Google Gemini says on your situation...
While experiencing spontaneous arousal or physical twitches after a major breakthrough isn't unusual, having frequent, uncontrollable nocturnal orgasms that disrupt sleep is NOT a normal or healthy outcome.
What that person on the forum is describing sounds like a temporary hyper-sensitization or irritation of the pudendal nerve network and sacral spinal circuits—essentially an overstimulated "circuit loop" in the pelvic floor.
When a person has a sudden breakthrough, several physiological things can happen if the nervous system gets overwhelmed:
If you reply on the forum or see someone struggling with this, the standard advice in pelvic health and somatic training is:
I hope this helps.

After my initial breakthrough I was getting really strong waves of pleasure throughout the day while I was at work and rock hard erections that would start to leak pre-cum. It only lasted a couple of days. But they would come back from time to time.
Before I got interested in trying the Aneros I was having what you are suffering from 24 hours a day for a week and a half. But I felt like I was on the edge of of having an orgasm all day and night... Mind you they varied in intensity... From a pleasant hum or buzz in the pelvic region to complete extasy!!! I would disappear into the restroom and try to be quiet for about 20 minutes or so and hope that it would subside. I looked online and thought that I might have PGAD!!! Persistent Genital Arousal Disorder.
After a quick consult with my Doctor he said it was a bad Prostate infection!
After a week of antibiotics it was gone... But I was intrigued by intensity and different sensations that the prostate was capable of and I have felt great ever since! Physically, Emotionally and spiritually! I feel more confident and it has increased my complete well-being. I'm actually happy again!
Cheers,
TB

@redapplecat how's it going, mate?
@tbex thanks. Yes, it looks like it could be something similar to both 1 and 3. I’m trying to rest it all but it’s not easy to switch off totally.

It’s a lot better. I can at least sleep again. Mostly. I still get one automatically when i wake in the night, or in the morning. I have a strategy to calm the pelvic floor, but actually doing nothing with it is another thing altogether!
@redapplecat you are very welcome!
@redapplecat, glad to hear 👍
If it still bothers you at all, here's a post on the Mindgasm blog on the topic that might be helpful: https://mindgasm.net/i-did-it-now-the-tingles-wont-stop/
