I have been using Aneros products for the last couple of months, and I love them. I have four of them now, the latest being the Helix Trident, which is now my number one. Anyway, I have been following discussions on Reddit, and reading all the positive opinions on the Njoy wand, so I decided to research that device. I found a knockoff that is identical to the Njoy, at one third of the price, so I ordered one . Just got the Wand, tried it, and I have to admit, I hate this thing. It is heavy, hard to hold, no luck in easily finding the P spot, which the Aneros does automatically, and all the pleasure I get from the Aneros products, is totally missing.
Glad I didn't buy the $150 one, because I think I'll use the one I got as a paperweight. 😊
I think of it more as a long metal finger. There isn't anything about it that's going to be automatic or especially intuitive, but it opens up an avenue of exploration... and what you do with that is up to you. You might not appreciate it much yet, but in the future it could be something you come back to, and if you do, then you've got the right tool for the job.
Mine hasn't really blown me away either, but I'm glad to have it for occasions where I feel like poking around in there, or experimenting with more manual control.
I agree that the Njoy is heavy, had too much leverage for me and not that intuitive to use, but I can't say it's a bad product. I think that a smaller (and less pricy) glass G-Spot / P-Spot wand is what people should start with if they're not sure they will like using wands in general.
Bottom line for me is that nothing will beat the mobility and functionality of the Aneros products or in other words, I have yet to find something else that will feel similar or that I'd say is an upgrade. But there's certainly room for different products that give different kind of feelings. And sometimes I feel like taking the Njoy for a spin just for the variety...
