Call me stupid , But mine came with no instructions . Does the ring face the balls or rear end ?

Not stupid at all. Mine also came without instructions. All was revealed to me with time, patience and this website as a guide. The "ring" faces you butt. The abutment tab (looks like the end of a hockey stick should engage your perineum (the soft area between your scrotum and anus). For more information on insertion and usage, check out the instructions section of the site. For the finer points, check out this forum there is a tremendous amount of information from newbies and advanced user alike, that will surely be of benefit to you. For starters see my threads "Keys to the Backdoor...".
