I'm slowly progressing with my aneros but I feel that a big thing holding me back is my choice of lube. I have a progasm ice and a helix and I sort of flit between the two. I use a water-based lube and for the progasm I tend to pre-lube as well. My worry is that the lube dries up too much - can one remove the aneros during a session, shove more lube on and go back in? I've heard that unrefined shea butter is good but where do I get hold of it? Will this by itself be sufficient? I'd like something with which I can just coat the aneros and my anus and then go for a whole session without worrying.

Thanks 🙂

@Firedrake,go with certified unrefined shea butter if you can. I have used it as my essential form of lube since late 2009 and it works like a charm for me. It is long lasting, easy to prepare and clean up and, as far as I am aware, is totally harmless.

I'm don't know where you are resident, but I feel sure that a visit to Mr Google will throw up many online sources in your part of the world.

Good luck!
