Chaps,

I’m isolating away from home at the moment and didn’t think to pack a massager before I left... Faced with months away, I’m tempted to order a new one but not sure what to go for!

Currently in my toy box are the following:

  • Helix Syn (my first Aneros)
  • Progasm Jr (never use it)
  • Progasm Ice

If I were to order another, I’m not sure which one it should be - I’m still a beginner at the moment and am tempted by the Helix Syn Trident, but it’s the same as the Helix Syn with different arms, no?

What should I get? I don’t like the idea of the Eupho, I prefer something with a larger surface area to be honest.

Would go with the HelixSyn Trident. Has become one of my favorites as it has a larger head which is velvety smooth - feels really good as it snuggles up to your prostate! The flexible tabs feel great as well!

@fred27 I agree, the way my Helix feels as it snuggles up next to my prostate is my favourite!

I have the Helix Syn, is the Trident version bigger!? If so, I’m sold!

Hi @l-d-thomson, having the older Helix Syn and Eupho Syn I do prefer the Eupho. Lately I've bought the Eupho Trident but went back to my Eupho Syn because of its unbeatable surface. Having the Progasm Ice too and loving its filling feeling, my slim Eupho Syn is my favorite private dancer because of its superior manoeuvrability and priceless agility. Let me put it this way, if I'd wanna stick to standard dance I'd again choose another Helix model, if I'd instead like to discover freestyle, I'd let the Eupho show me some new and exciting moves. Don't underestimate this devilish tiny tool. 😉

"The Eupho Syn gave me a ride to remember
and again taught me,

it’s not always a matter of size!"

Whatever you choose, enjoy yourself and keep us posted how it works for you.

Cheers, Mart

I had the Helix Syn trident, it’s not actually not much different then the helix Syn, except it doesn’t have a plastic hook handle on it, and the arms are a lot more flexible, to flexible for me. because it never touched the perineum for me, the silicone on it definitely felt a lot softer though for me. It never really did anything for me, but that was me being impatient I guess which is a session destroyer. Everyone’s different though, just go by what your heart says and buy whichever one and enjoy the ride! Also, the trident is about the same size as the original Helix Syn.

@sowithoutaneros would you recommend the Eupho to someone who is yet to have a proper first orgasm? It did cross my mind that it would be the best one to get, having gone bigger previously (first with the Progasm Jr, then the Progasm Ice - also a big fan of the fuller feeling it leaves you with!)

I’ve managed to get a tingling in my navel from the Helix Syn, the Progasm I can get to move if I’m gently stroking my penis with it inserted (which is WONDERFUL) but I always thought the Eupho was a more advanced piece of kit? Would you recommend the Eupho, or the Eupho Syn?

@train-man-anthony good to know they’re the same size. I love my Helix, I get a really good sensation just from it being inserted, but if I’m going to spend money on these again, I don’t want it to be on the same thing!

@l-d-thomson good to know, you must have very thick rectal walls because every time I insert plastic ones it always feels uncomfortable no matter how much lube I use! I just can’t get any pleasure from the plastic ones which is why I buy silicone aneros only.

@train-man-anthony haha, maybe! I can’t say I notice any issue with the Progasm Ice but the Helix Syn definitely does feel a little more luxurious.. I do prefer the silicone, for sure.

@l-d-thomson lol you got that right as a owner of the helix Syn myself I agree with that. after a while it feels like there isn’t anything there at all. If only they made a program coated with silocone like the Helix Syn, I’d buy that in a heartbeat.

@train-man-anthony oh for sure, I imagine the fuller feeling would be great with that!

Now, I just have to decide what one I want to purchase...

As you can read from my three years old blog posts (I linked to in my last answer), the Eupho Syn has been one of my two first Aneros tools. As a bisexual man with adventurous sex-life and experiences with first anal play even back in my teenage years, I had no precise idea how to stimulate my prostate although I even had tried the Nexus G-Rider - without satisfying results. I can't say which of my preconditions may have worked together, but my Eupho Syn never occurred to me personally to be for advanced users only, because it gave me fantastic feelings right from the first sessions. I would always prefer the Syn surface, it doubles the fun. And I read the new Syn was even easier to clean than the older already has been. If I had to choose "one for my lonely island" I'd think it would be either the Eupho Syn or the even a little smaller Tempo, why I already asked to produce an Eupho Steel. 😉

If you are looking for something 'girthier' you may wish to consider the DeVice.

Good Vibes to You!

I'm not sure if I should recommend getting a different model or the similar one, but here's my experience: I started off with the Helix Syn which did nothing for me for almost 9 months.  Once I started relaxing more I made some great progress and of course I wanted to buy more toys, that's a problem I have to keep under control.  However that said, I bought the Helix Syn Trident as my second Aneros and that has provided the best sessions and most progress made since I bought it a year ago.  It's not just the HS with a K-tab, the whole toy would seem to be subtly redesigned, the arms have more give, the silicone is different, the shape is even slightly different.  And the K-tab does indeed make a lot of difference, not only in added sensation and varied movement, but also it's easier to use laying on your back, etc.  I'd call the HST a marked improvement over the HS in many ways (and I love it so much it's my Avatar too).  So if the Helix shape already works for you then there's every chance that the new Trident will only improve your experience.  If the Helix wasn't working too well for you before then maybe the MGX?  I dunno what to suggest there, I also own the MGX and Eupho Syn Tridents but they haven't done much for me yet.  It's hard to use more than one at a time so I usually stick with what's already working.

Helix Syn Trident would get my vote. It's all around versatility is fairly consistent.

Hey boys!

Just stopping in to say, a whole three months after posting this, I've made the plunge and just ordered myself a Helix Syn Trident!

I bought a new Dildo for myself shortly after posting this. I had one already but it was cheap, nasty and I didn't like using it. I treated myself to one off the Fleshjack website - if you haven't got one and dildo play is your thing, 100% recommend; he's a wonderful ride! 😉

I bought another one today as I'm still without my Aneros', thanks to the pandemic.. I was talking to someone today that I met in a Tantric community I am a member of who advised that he thinks I am a lot closer to multi-orgasms and intense prostate pleasure than I think I am. He got my curiosity going so much that I couldn't help myself and had to restart my journey!

It arrives later this week..I can't wait to see how different the toy feel against my spot in comparison to the Helix Syn!

I think a lot depends on how often you intend to use it.  I ordered the Progasm Classic and it is working really well for me.  I know that a lot of guys like larger models but I want something that I can use pretty quickly and have several orgasms a day.  I don't know if a larger model might give you more intense orgasms (mine can get pretty intense), but I'm preferring the frequency with which I can use this model and not have to "work myself up" to use it.
