I got the stimulator successfully inserted after some false starts, but now I just feel...like there's something in my ass. 🙁 I'm not feeling any "new" sensations and definitely no pleasure. Is my prostate defective?

Patience , patience , patience grasshopper. NO your prostate is probably not defective it is just still asleep. The paradigm shift in thought needed to fully experience your prostate's potential does not happen overnight for most men anyway. You need to do a lot more reading here to begin to understand what is happening both physically and psychologically. As usual you should read the Sticky threads in the Newbies Nook forum. After having read through all that I will suggest you read @MomentOfSerenity 's ...method useful for beginners tutorial for learning about prostate massage using Aneros devices, Also please see @Crimsonwolf 's three part posting in the thread The Crimsonwolf Method: PreWiring and the Confident Boomerang. Also please see @Quest4bliss's post Secrets to my success.... Those should get you pointed in the right direction to progress.

Good Vibes to You!

It's not as easy to find with the device as the write ups make it seem. You do need to move around and adjust a little bit to find where it lies in your specific body. You'll know when you find it by the immediate tingle that feels like you are going to pee, or ejaculate.

It's taken me a little bit to find it but I can't hit it consistently yet. This takes some work and practice.

I was going to start a new thread and not meaning to hijack this but I have a couple questions. The first few times with my new device (helix syn v) I'm not really feeling anything either. The sessions I've had I get the feeling I'm hitting the right area because I'm getting pre cum. I had roughly an hour session today. Had to stop once to pee and just didn't feel like I was getting anywhere unfortunately 🙁 I don't want these experiences to deter me to keep trying. This is probably where others give up.

Oh, I haven't had any involuntary start yet 🙁

@yoyo23 Thanks for sharing your experience, it's nice to be validated and to feel less alone on this journey (rather than to be scolded for not reading enough). Good luck to you, I hope both of our experiences improve!

@joedout on Friday I have some free time. I will just go into the session with a care free attitude towards it and expect nothing. Just breath and see if involuntary moment starts. If I lay there for an hour so be it. I can only fall asleep lol. Best wishes also. It is tough because we expect results and I know it shouldn't work this way

@joedout Reading is good for you, I promise!  I don't think Rumel is scolding you, I always find him to be an encouraging presence here and I hope that I am as well.  My perspective is that some men find success right out of the gates and some only get there after a decade or more.  I'm somewhere in the latter category myself, it would seem.  The good news is that most men fall somewhere in between the two extremes and usually in the 6-18 months range.  Keep going, don't be discouraged.

Hi Guys.  I feel like I need to say something about body positions during our sessions.
For me, body positions have made all the difference for reaching Super O.

I usually start a session standing on the floor and bent over at the waist, leaning over a
chair or bed.  Arch my back and "stick out" my buttocks.  Then insert the massager, initially
moving the device in and out of the anus a few times (as needed), which gets the anal feelings and
sensations going.  Then I leave the device deep in place, squeezing those muscles to keep the sensations
going.  Move the device in and out of the anus as needed to continue those sensations.

Then I move onto the bed face up, legs in the air, continuing muscle contractions and again move
the device in and out of the anus a few times with my hand as needed.  Then grab my feet and
pull my legs apart and up toward my head.  This position seems to open the anus/rectum for
better prostate massage.  Sensations intensify leading to Super O.

Focus on the anal/prostate sensations while ignoring penile erection.  Moving attention to the
erect penis and away from the anal sensations moves us away from the road to Super O and into
ejaculation, which is a very different sensation.  When you start moaning, you are on your way
to the goal = SUPER O!

I hope this helps.  Good luck, Guys!

I don't have my Aneros yet should be here any day now but as a newer prostate player (right around 2 months) and have achieved at least 4 or 5 orgasms with my Njoy pure wand now of varying intensity. There are a few things I learned very quickly that made me successful. Maybe I can give a little insight that may help.

First major point that had the biggest impact on my success was mental not technique or physical. I learned very quickly unlike the penis I can't just say oh I am going to have a session today and try. For me currently it just doesn't work like that. Very much like a female I need to be in the mood. If I am not in the right mental or body state it will just never happen.

The next one is I need to empty my mind completely. Often the first hints of pleasure to work with are so small a active mind hides it. Once I get that first hint all my mental focus moves there and I try to tease it mentally and physically. I will try different things to grow it. Sometimes it fades and I need to find it again and try something new.

I guess you can say once I let go of my desperation for success and listened to my body and mind is really when I made huge strides.

Ugh I have such a problem getting rid of the mind noise, one of my biggest hangups I'm sure.

Well, as my doctor pointed out when I asked if scar tissue from a perineal surgery a few year ago could be the issue (this was ruled out), "It's not like nipples are erogenous zones for everybody either." Sigh.
