material help: silicone (syn trident types) vs abs plastic (progasm types)

Greetings and well met!

I have been exploring off/on for many years now, starting with the HIH Peristal® kit, and eventually moving over to Aneros lines.

My first Aneros was the Helix Syn Trident, followed by the Eupho Syn Trident, then the MGX.

Recently I have been able to advance to larger sizes (long time coming, but important to not rush progress).

To that end, I finally have opportunity to "equip" the ABS plastic lines from Aneros, of which I have a Progasm Black ICE and Progasm Jr.

These feel great in, however I find they have an unfortunate habit of "popping out" or sliding out, apparently due to the lack of "texture" (near as I can tell.)

Mostly this happens when I am stood up, while they will stay in when I am on my back.

I do not have this problem with the SYN line devices I own, except for perhaps the Eupho, but think that more due to the smaller size.

Has this been a problem for others, and if so, how did you work-around this issue?

So far the best solution I can think of, is some sort of "catch net" (EG: cotton panties) for if/when slips happen, to re-insert.

Possible root cause, I have VERY tight sphincter issues, which I find the Aneros to be of TREMENDIOUS help with releasing the pain.

My rear quadrant is my "stress battery", leading to ongoing lower back pain, until I started treating with toys like the Aneros devices.

The long term desire is to "accommodate" the larger toys for long durations, as a lifestyle experience and ongoing pain relief (re-lubing at regular times to maximize comfort.)

I use a lube from Intimate Earth ("Bliss" clove infused water-base, for the natural relaxation aspects), which seems to have a thicker viscosity and hold, without being too messy.

Thank you for your time and constructive feedback.

Used to have that problem with any of my prostate toys but in the past year have discovered the best way to keep any of them inside. My position is always on my side or back. The key for me to keeping any of them inside was to allow them to be pulled completely inside where they seem to “hook” into place and stay put even when my sphincter is totally relaxed. This position also gives maximum pleasure from the p and k tabs and allows the smooth head to provide best stimulation to my prostate.

@fred27 Interesting and thank you for the response.  Do you still have this issue while standing with your device(s) inserted?

Indeed, usually I try to ensure a "proper seat" of the device before I carry on with activities.

Usually this means reaching around and pressing gently to "test" and see if the device wants to go in any deeper, with skin to tab contact also engaged.

I will have to test if perhaps I am not going "deep enough" such that the "hook" from the inner sphincter is not sufficiently "holding".

Possibly this is a non-issue for my SYN based devices, as their "tabs" are on flexible arms, and so are more readily "seated" without the tab pressure I would otherwise experience from the PROGASM based devices (with the more ridged ABS plastic.)

Put another way, it sounds like a more "through" / deep engagement with the tabs would be a good indication of whether the device is sufficiently "seated" to stay in.

Curiously, at one point I felt something in support of this theory with my Progasm Black Ice (which I am VERY excited to finally be able to wear, after significant time spent slowly stretching up.)

Specifically, I felt a strong contraction (of my PC muscles I expect), that notably squeezed down around the tip of the device, which shortly "rocketed out" of my person.

Certainly felt like it was not somehow deep enough in that case, where otherwise I would have expected the sphincter to "grab" the device, and the contraction tension to "break" over the firmness instead (like waves over a break-water.)

Something to test out, and may yield some interesting outcomes with the increased tab engagement to boot!

While I don’t normally stand with Aneros in place, the few times I have stood it stays in place. My go to Aneros is the MGX blue Syn and as you mentioned, you can feel the p and k tabs as they flex allowing the head to go deeper inside!

@fred27 Indeed, and I LOVE the idea of the BLUE line (even though I keep missing the releases.)

I have a regular MGX SYN, that (for me) was rather lack-luster, compared to the HELIX SYN (which was better "hitting the spot" for me.)

However as discussed above, possibly I have simply "been doing it wrong" and should re-test the whole line (from Eupho up.)

Only ones I have not explored to date is the MAXIMUS, Psy, VICE 2, or the new Eupho V...

I do so much love the sensation of "bobbing" wearing the HELIX SYN out and about, moreover without fear of it "slipping out" (also as discussed above.)

Here's for hoping the above suggestion is the magic fix, to finally enjoy the delicious "full" of the Progasm, without the disappointment of the "device drop" risk...
