It seems members of this forum who used to be most active have moved on or otherwise become inactive. I wonder how long folks who are still here have been using Aneros, and what is your evaluation of it as a long time users, maybe relative to other devices/toys out there? Are you getting tired of it? Have you had any negative side effects? Have you moved on from it? What have you moved on to? Any word of advice for newbies? etc. etc.

Have been on the journey for almost ten years. Just recently have made some major progress with my MGX Syn Trident. Had been plateaued with just some minor orgasm. Have posted my recent developments under separate discussions. Had several super Os in one night. I attribute my success to being totally relaxed and waking up to have sessions in the middle of the night! I do miss some of the good discussions in the old chat room! No negative side effects - slept with the MGX all night several times.

@fred27 Thant’s really good to know! Your mentioned that you success was due to total relaxation. Did you need to take long sessions, more frequent sessions or both to achieve the results?

Total relaxation for me happened when I let my prostate/anal area take over total control during my do nothing phase. Previously I would tense up down there expecting something to happen.

@fred27 Understood. But does the “do nothing” approach mean you need LONG sessions to slow get there? And did you need to practice in high frequency to get it?

You don’t necessarily need long sessions but need to just relax and wait patiently for subtle responses like twitches and spasms from your prostate and anal area and focus on each one. Involuntary responses will follow like body twitching and feelings of intense pleasure will build eventually leading to prostate/anal orgasms. The Aneros will begin to pull tighter inside and the p and k tabs will work their magic as they caress the prostate and tailbone areas. You may feel the head begin to dance inside as well!

I had my first session with Helix Trident last night. It turned out to be very long session. For the first two hours or so, despite all the breathing techniques I've learned, I could hardly feel anything at all. Fortunately, since the device is small and smooth enough, I felt I could give it some more time with patience and determination. And just before I intended to call it a night, as a last attempt, I squeezed and released my PC muscles continuously for close to 100 times with the purpose of tiring them out. Believe it or not, it worked. I started feeling the involuntary twitching and contractions. I gingerly encouraged them, and they grew stronger and stronger. For a moment, it felt like it had a life of its own. I found myself having conversations with it, mostly me asking and begging and it listened and responded with more varied and more relentless thrusts and pounding. It was a very erotic and arousing experience.

Now I'm not sure where I am, but in terms of sensation, while I got raging erections on and off, and pumped a lot of precum, I wouldn't call the sensations themselves overwhelmingly pleasurable. It seem there's some sort of disconnection between the prostate movement and the urge to cum, which I believe brings pleasurable sensations? Also, I should improve on the lube I use. The coconut oil was not quite good. I should try something different.

There's my first report. Thanks @fred27 for your input!

@seanyea good things take time but sounds like you’re well on your way! Lots of good lubes out there - coconut oil can be messy and can stain. My favorite is from Cal Exotics and is long lasting and feels great! Aloe Vera gel also works great and smells good too! Try several and see what works best for you! Make sure they are compatible with Syn. You’ll find that once you lose the urge to cum, the pleasure will become greater and lasting!

@fred27 I got coconut oil becuase it’s more discreet and has no smell, but I had to reapply a few times maybe because it’s absorbed by the skin and it didn’t feel smooth and lubricared enough. My bigger “concern” for now however is that this level of arousal needs to be “upgraded” and that, I feel, will en a challenge in days ahead!

Might suggest you get a lube shooter - they’re made of plastic and get the lube inside deeper where it’s needed! A good slippery lube around the prostate area is a necessity to getting good movement to massage and stimulate the area. Doesn’t take a lot of movement once the Aneros is pulled totally inside and the p and k tabs can do their thing!😀

Yes, I am thinking a better lube is what i need, but I'm not sure if that alone could make a significant difference (maybe it just could). I suppose I'm at the so-called p-wave stage, and may have had a taste of prostate orgasm as well although I'd say the latter was not up to the level of experience shared by some users here, or maybe I should manage expectations?

BTW, what's up with this forum? It's pretty dead most of the time. Are the members who used to be around still lurking around occasionally? Is there still an administrator at all?

P waves are great but when the prostate wakes up through stimulation, you will be amazed! Your whole body will respond through body shakes and ecstatic pleasure. There will be peaks and valleys along the way but the journey is worth it! Not sure about the forum - possibly many have migrated to other venuses unfortunately!

@fred27 I appreciate you hanging around! I might've overworked my prostate the other night, which could be another reason. But at least I had a taste of what this is about and gained confidence in its potential!

Sometimes it’s good to take a break - your prostate will let you know when it’s craving attention! It feels sooo goood when your prostate swells and you can feel the head of the Aneros sitting on it! Sometimes it feels like a tapping sound and makes it go crazy!! Don’t know when you normally have sessions but would suggest trying early morning before you get up as your body is totally relaxed then - my best sessions have been in the early morning hours.

Early mornings are not usually "me time" in my case, but it's good to know. I will try it out when I do get a morning to myself.

@fred27 As you may remember, I got a Helix Trident (non-vibrating version). I read it was re-designed some years ago to have a short p-tab arm. Now what I see here is that the p-tab arm is shorter than the k-tab arm on my helix. It doesn't seem to be in the right position for my sweet spot however, and I don't know how you can move it around to aim better as some posts here suggested. The device is tightly tucked in, and there's not much room to move it around. As a matter of fact, I got better results when I turned the device up side down (i.e. the smooth curved side of the shaft is up to the belly button), but I don't think it's mean to be that way and may not provide the best results. Thoughts?

Another concern is that I felt maybe the surface of the head of the Helix Trident is not smooth enough to glide on the prostate. It may be by design to increase stimulation, but my prostate quickly gets tired and a little sore after a while. Do you know which version of Aneros has a smooth surface? I think that plus a good lube will give me better sensations. Thanks!

@seanyea any of the Syn models have smooth head surface as do the Progasm models. The Syns Trident models also have flexible p and k tabs which provide stimulation when doing contractions. The Progasm models are made with a smooth hard surface with non flexible tabs. If you do hard contractions, the Syn Trident models would be a better choice. Personally I like my MGX Syn Trident which has flexible tabs and a ribbed stem.

@fred27 Thanks for the quick response. So all the Syn Tridents have flexible tabs? And both the Syn models and Progasm models have smooth surface. Correct?

I looked it over. I think I'm going to follow you and get a MGX syn. Hope it'll be worth the investment. The Helix gave me a taste of what it's about but it's not a fit after all.

Just had another session. Still with the Helix (still waiting for MGX syn to come in), which I believe gives me subpar results, but for the purpose of practice anyway. Got some new sensations as I'm learning to flex anal muscle about half way while relaxing and pushing down my belly. It seemed a shortcut to lead to involuntary contractions as it's a hard position to hold. Today, at the peak of it, I just stayed in such a state for a long while. The contractions come and go. My cock had never been harder, the urge to cum was so strong that I was begging the Helix let me. I did use the will power and never tried to jerk off. Eventually it became a sweet and bitter torture - more erotic than pleasurable, and I just gave up fighting. Once it settled down a little, I ended the session without cumming. I call it half a session. Will continue later today or tomorrow.

@seanyea don’t underestimate the responses you get during a session! As you feel different muscles come into play and focus on them, they will eventually become automatic and lead you into even more intense pleasures! Keep posting your progress!

@fred27 Yes, I'm learning something everyday! The "half session" I had later that day didn't go well. For 2+ hours I couldn't quite get myself anywhere. What I realized was that I had overworked and desensitized my muscles and glands for the day. I need to rest, and only start a session when I really feel that I need it. Quality trumps quantity!

@fred27 I had another session last night. I tried the "do nothing" approach. It felt nice for a while. The subtle movements and gentle stimulation to the prostate were pleasant. That said, I had a hard time reaching to the finish line - I'm not talking about ejaculation but rather any kind of orgasm. Felt like being edged for a few hours without relief. I ended up exhausted and frustrated. 😐

@seanyea you’re off to a good start but learn to enjoy the subtle feelings and learn to relax more without expecting any major results and you will reach the orgasm when you least expect it! Doesn’t happen immediately and there will be times when you think nothing is going on but keep your focus and relax!

Just had a pretty good session. I was really trying to take the “do nothing” approach, focusing my attention only on breathing and the sensations in the lower belly. I also had very low expectations, prepared to take whatever would come my way without frustrations. While the deep breathing relaxed me and moved the Aneros subtly which was a nice feeling, nothing really happened after an hour or so, but just as I was going to call it a day, the contraction started. It was a moderate non aggressive move as I was still trying to keep it soft and relaxed down there. The contraction soon stopped and became a probe. It felt like it really penetrated into me deep and gradually filled me up in girth as well. It’s a sensation I can’t describe by words like pleasure, but it’s new and exciting so I embraced it. For the next half hour or so, the probe and light contractions took turns and varied in ways. At times I felt as if I was viciously edged, but as I was determined to let it take me where I’d be taken so I just kept wide open (pun intended) to it… I’m obviously still on the journey, and I’m not even this is some sort of milestone or not, but I am in no rush and look forward to what’s coming next!

Dear Readers,

I’ve had my Aneros Trident for about a month now and have been focusing a lot on breathing and relaxation. I’ve read quite a few of your posts on the forum and am also experimenting with various tips. I notice that during the outward movement with the PC muscle, followed by the inward movement through breathing and gently contracting the PC muscle, something awakens within me. When I then start to stroke my nipples, my anus begins to make very rapid, small contractions, as it were, and I start to get aroused. After doing this for about an hour, my lower body began to tremble, including my legs. I’ve experienced this before during the Tao training I did a year ago. Then I started contracting my anus and, using my breath, pulling the energy up from my pelvis—this alone is incredible, especially with the Trident, and especially with the K tab. About half an hour later, a warm sensation arose in the center of my pelvis, and I could suddenly feel all the tabs at once; it felt like a subtle current of electricity. I’ve never experienced these sensations before and I’m so impressed! I don’t feel like I had an orgasm, but rather a kind of awakening of the prostate, and now as I write this, everything in my body is starting to resonate—could it be that my prostate is awakening right now? It’s just a question; otherwise, I’ve really enjoyed it and am now enjoying the sensations running through my body. I’d love to keep you updated on my experiences on the forum.
