To warm up the toys or not to warm up?

Hi everyone!

Sessions work for me when I warm up my Aneros toys prior to use. But not by going to the sink and running hot water on them. I get a cup or bottle, fill it with pretty hot water, and then hang the toys inside of it so that the P-tab hangs outside. This keeps the arms and tabs mostly dry and easy to grab.

I set the cup/bottle on a towel next to me on the floor where I have all my sessions (I need the harder surface, don't know why) and use them as I feel during my session. The little bit of water left on the toy helps my water-based lube to get even more slick, and there's water right there for a dab or two to help increase slipperiness during my session. Usually the water stays warm throughout my whole session.

Who else does this? When I have the cup nearby I have no disruption in my session at all, its just grab and goooooooooo.

For those who warm up their toys, do you get better feelings from them versus cold toys? Do some of y'all like the feeling of different temperatures inside you (sometimes a cold toy going in late in a session is really amazing and makes for a lot of movement, but sometimes its uncomfortable too)?

I'm curious about this as I believe that toy temperature is the KEY to successful orgasms during sessions. My orgasmic abilities during sessions increased big time after I started to do this warm up method for my toys.

One thing I think would be amazing is if Aneros developed a toy warmer. Something USB powered and easy to use and especially easy to clean. I mean a cup of hot water is almost free and easy to control. But, the water does get cold. Something that stays perpetually warm would be choice!

thoughts???

You could use a baby’s milk bottle warmer maybe. I never warm toys up,but I’ll admit it’s never bothered me.
The wife doesn’t warm her pegging gear up either. 😉

Warming up the toy is an Interesting theory; some cool down their SS or metal tools for added sensations.

Perhaps a coffee cup electric hot-plate could keep your next massager warm while using the first if you're a multiple toy-per-session kind of a guy??

I always felt the toys would be the temperature of you in a few minutes but a lube warmer could be of some benefit. Silicone lube doesn't do this for some reason, but even a good water based lube like sessions can cause uncomfortable spasms in me arse. It can go away pretty fast as long as I get a toy in there and start relaxation exercises right away, but cold lube is a shock to me, and not a fun shock!

good to hear these ideas! I do use toys cold for sure. But when they are about body temperature they kind of melt into me instantly and then as soon as movement happens, it feels like something natural in me, or at least a little more natural and less plastic. I do enjoy the "whoa!" feeling of a toy colder than my body and it does make movement and makes me have Os. But when the toy warms up inside me the feeling is different and there is less sensation; kind of like "I felt you at first but now I can't tell" whereas an already warmed up toy feels the way it is going to feel the whole time right from the instant I insert it.

The baby bottle warmer sounds like a good idea! Water in a cup or mug stays warm enough to keep toys immersed in it warm for about 30-40 minutes. After that I'm usually about ready for a Super T unless I have a massive multi toy session planned!

I’m using organic Shea butter as lube. I need to knead it for 3 to 4 minutes to make it homogeneous and creamy. During this time, I put my Aneros between my thighs so it warm up a little. It’s just perfect for me.

Personally I tend to warm up glass and metal toys beforehand since they're just uncomfortable otherwise. As for the plastic Aneros, I don't feel they're "cold" at room temp, but I'm the kind of guy who's always going barefoot and shirtless inside the house, maybe I just "run hot" ?

A small lunchbox thermos would keep water hot a long time, or an insulated mug for hikers would do the trick also and might be more convenient.
