I am in my late 30's, and have enjoyed anal play since my 20's and for all those years I had been trying to achieve a better orgasm with no luck.
I bought a couple of Aneros toys last year but didn't have much luck with them initially. Then I stumbled upon the r/ProstatePlay Reddit sub about 2 months ago and after reading through various posts and the pinned guide I managed to achieve my first p-gasm.
It was like my prostate was asleep or dormant for all those years as previously I had never felt any kind of pleasure from it. This unlocked a whole new world for me.
I have been enjoying regular p-gasms every day since.
At first I found that 1-3 hours after a play session had ended I would have another p-gasm randomly with no stimulation which was nice, but that only lasted for the first couple of weeks, after that I could only achieve one with a toy.
2 weeks ago I wondered if I could achieve those random p-gasms again without a toy. I laid on my couch and relaxed with a very light reverse kegal and had an amazing p-gasm.
This was great, I didn't need a toy and could achieve orgasm at any time, I even managed super-o's just by laying down and enjoying the pleasure.
I got a bit too in to it, doing it multiple times a day.
However since training this way, my prostate is on all the time, which initially was nice and didn't seem like a problem, that was until a week ago...
I was at the gym with my personal trainer doing leg press, half way through my set a p-gasm come on so strong out of nowhere, I almost let out a verbal moan. I instantly jumped up and walked around, having to make excuses as to why I stopped mid set and fighting for my life to try and prevent it going any further. It was so intense and I still had 30 minutes left of my session, it took everything I had to keep it at the level it was at and finish the session.
Afterwards I went home and let it all out.
Since then, I have been on the cusp of orgasm pretty much all the time. It's right there and even mentally acknowledging it for a second pulls me further in.
I thought if I resist that it would subside over time but that's not the case, the more I resist the stronger it gets until I give in.
Every night is an adventure, When I go to bed, I try so hard to ignore the pleasure to go to sleep and either I will lay there for hours having involuntary orgasms over and over and only get a couple of hours of sleep, or if I manage to resist and go to sleep it is very restless and I wake up constantly throughout the night in pleasure.
At first I could get it to settle down by going for a long walk, but with in 2 minutes of getting home its back on in full force. This did not work today though, as soon as I started walking it kept building. I got about 1km away from my house and had to turn around because my legs were quivering. Anything I do to successfully distract myself only lasts until I stop doing that task.
Even masturbation doesn't work to dull it now, when I masturbate I just get a ton of pleasure from my prostate during and about 20 seconds of calm after before the pleasure from my prostate hits me again at full force.
When I try to relax my pelvic floor it just makes me more aware of it and gives me more pleasure.
I work from home on a computer, which does absolutely nothing to distract from the pleasure my prostate is pumping out constantly.
Even sitting here typing this message I am fighting pleasure across my entire body just trying to finish the message.
So my question is, Has anyone else experienced this? If so, what do you do to control it or how do you make it stop?
Is this just my life now? 😛
I feel like the monkey in the Lilly Experiment, but I am not in control of the button
Well that sounds like a good trouble to have! That said, it also sounds like it has become too much a good thing for you. If it really bothers you, my suggestion is to ejaculate more often. Especially, after an extended session of prostate play, release the semen together with all the fluid from the prostate. Once you're totally drained, it should keep your attention off from sexual thoughts and sensations for a little while although since you're young that period may be shorter.
I don't mean to hijack the thread, but I don't feel like starting a new one for a related question. I'm still new to prostate play. I now have got to a stage where I can reach involuntary contractions relatively regularly when playing with my Aneros and occasionally without (aka Aless). My "issue" is that while these contractions (some are strong enough to qualify for p-O's I suppose) are nice, I don't feel they live up to the hype many people shared. In other words, I don't feel they are so out-of-worldly pleasurable. I can't help thinking maybe I'm missing something. Anyone has the same feeling, and any idea what that's about?

I did experience this for some time.
Before I got an Aneros I actually discovered hands free mental-play by accident, I used to do it in bed, where I'd close my eyes and focus on building orgasm feelings. Visualizing moving energy around. I got pretty far with it. But I reached a similar point of not being able to turn it off. I'd be on the bus feeling like an energy orgasm is rising up inside me, or I'd get the sudden sensation of falling for no apparent reason. Some nights it would keep me awake for hours and the only way to stop it would be to masturbate several times until my whole system was too tired to keep it going. Then I'd put on a podcast to keep my mind distracted.
Eventually I did get better at suppressing these random surges, but I can't explain how, there was just this invisible mental switch that I could flip that said "Not now". But even still that wasn't flawless.
What I ended up doing was quitting these mind-guided hands-free sessions altogether. That's when I got my Aneros, and limited my hands-free activities to Aneros sessions (or mindgasm, or hypno, etc.). Basically I don't do anything that doesn't include some deliberate physical or add-on thing. And I made a habit of ending most of my sessions with traditional ejaculation. I think in this way I've trained myself out of the "anytime any place" thing, my sessions have clearly defined beginning and end points. And that has helped a lot, I haven't had uncontrolled sensations sneaking up on me out of nowhere for many years.

There's not an exact one-to-one ratio between contractions and pleasure. As you get more experienced, you'll encounter different types of contractions, or feelings that hit in other ways, surges of pleasure that don't even involve contractions. Maybe something inside will contract in a place you didn't think could contract. There are many surprises to be had.
I've also been stuck in that "contractions but meh" plateau, and I think I've found something interesting...
What I've recently been experimenting with is to not chase the contractions or pleasure, in fact try to not have contractions. If you notice contractions happening, breathe into your lower belly and do a reverse-kegel while exhaling slowly. Don't seek pleasure, just sit with the rising sense of fullness and tension. Keep your pelvic floor relaxed (reverse kegels), and just let it build without pleasure. I did this for about 40 minutes, and eventually the pleasure I'd been bottling up couldn't be contained anymore and it just flooded me and took over in ways I've only read about. I think there's a trap in chasing pleasure too soon, you just drain out the pleasure in small amounts, rather than letting it build into something bigger that can erupt in a larger way. At least in theory.
I did recently have one of my best (sober) sessions in years doing this, but I haven't done it enough times to really nail down the details. Seems worth a try though.
So my question is, Has anyone else experienced this? If so, what do you do to control it or how do you make it stop?
I have been here myself. Over time it does get less. I still experience unexpected jolts of an intense orgasm that happen suddenly when something arouses me. It doesn’t last long but it could be difficult to explain if someone witnessed it. If someone ever asks, I plan to pass it off as a nerve or a cramp so not to let somebody know I just had a brief orgasm. As @Clenchy put it, train yourself out of anytime and any place. Occupy your mind with something that makes you think so you won’t have time to think about p- gasms. Lately, I’ve been holding my contractions really hard at the end of my sessions and while circling my nipples, I will have a HFWO. That definitely helps me end the session and it takes a while for the refractory period to pass.
@will704 may have to try your method of finishing a session by doing a hard contraction while doing nipple tweaks! Sounds like the ultimate way to end especially if it results in hfwo! Thanks for the tip!!😀
@clenchy Very helpful sharing. Thank you. I haven't thought of controlling the contractions and pleasure to shoot for a bigger prize, but it does sound like making sense and is worth a try.

I didn't think of it either for like 15+ years, it just emerged from a conversation I was having with an AI... where I told it I could get nice feelings but not reach a full climax... it suggested a "leaky bucket" theory, where I was perhaps draining the pleasure out in small amounts, in a way that wouldn't let it overflow. And that's what lead into that session. I was doing a lot of light reverse kegels... ignoring pleasure and focusing only on relaxing the pelvic floor and feeling a rising prostate fullness.
I'd be curious if it changes anything for your sessions. I haven't had much time to experiment with it properly.
Thinking back, I do remember an old thread from this forum, something like "Try not to orgasm" that might have been in the same ballpark.
@clenchy I do take relaxing pelvis as a golden rule throughout the session, and I don't physically push for contractions when they occur. But mentally, I do welcome and encourage the contractions. Maybe I should take a more "neutral" stance and even physically try to lighten up the intensity of the contractions. That way, I wouldn't "leak" too much energy on what I call "mediocre contractions" so the pent up energy can lead to more explosive pleasure waves? Does that sound like the idea? Something to try out in my next session...
@seanyea well according to my AI assistant, doing a reverse kegel helps to suppress the involuntaries, and I find it helps when I combine that with a "no, not yet" mindset. I also breathe into my lower abdomen, then breathe out very slowly through tightened lips, visualizing it exhaling through my perineum or inflating my prostate like a balloon, while I do a reverse kegel. There might be little bits of pleasure or involuntaries that happen, but I just ignore it and keep doing my reset with the breathing and reverse kegels.
The whole time, I'm focusing on a feeling of rising tension and expansion around my prostate. The AI suggested to think of it as stretching a rubber band until it snaps. In theory once you reach a critical point of this tension, the "snap" will happen and the tension will disappear and be replaced by spreading warmth, a feeling of falling in your pelvis, etc.
I didn't reach a point of anything sudden like that, but I did reach a point where the pleasure was starting to creep in, in a way I could no longer hold back. It got very good after that, including a small handful of pleasure spikes that I can only describe as "unimaginably sweet" that was like a glowing rod going from my perineum to my prostate... they only lasted 2 or 3 seconds each and there were minutes between them, but they were the absolute pinnacle of pleasure, and if they repeated on themselves I think I wouldn't be able to contain myself. At least that's what happened for me that one time, I've yet to do a proper follow-up. Needless to say I'm very intrigued by this "leaky bucket" theory.
Reverse kegel to me is just relax and drop your lower abdomen. If we’re doing abdominal breathing, this is actually pretty intuitive. Kegel is tighten and pull up your PC muscle while reverse kegel is letting go. Did I miss anything?

What I understand by the term "reverse kegel" is that there's a gentle pushing out component to it. I find that does help to make my pelvic floor that bit more expanded and open. I think I might have an unusually tense pelvic floor though, so maybe I found it more useful than other people would IDK.
This happened to me. It lasted about two weeks. I think it could have lasted longer, but life stresses entered and canceled it out. But, yeah, anything could set me off again after the giant super-o first hit. I could experience vibes from driving down the road--cross over a bridge, and 💥. I experienced a chairgasm, a church pew orgasm(that was weird, not gonna lie), and even a farm tractorgasm. It hit while I was on my job...nobody else had a clue, but it left me feeling like I was walking through a crowd with sunglasses on after smoking a joint. Of course nobody knew, but I was on a high to high to not feel like everyone knew.
@clenchy reverse kegels definitely have enhanced my sessions. Literally feels like I’m breathing through my pelvic floor! Doesn’t take long for p waves to begin as I do slow kegels and pause during each one!
@regal13 tell us more about your experience, please!
On the mindgasm site, they have a post about awakening the prostate and it not stopping, although the replies here seem to have covered most of it. And if you frequent the prostateplay subreddit like you mentioned, you're probably already familiar with it.

While I get that this state can be undesirable, as someone who has not had much success with prostate orgasms after trying for years, any tips/suggestions?
@rightbackatya For me, I explored prostate play before I found Aneros. I used different probes and was able the know what it felt like when my prostate was being touched. Aneros is just built so perfect that it keeps your hands free to relax and enjoy the massage. I can say the rewire process is real. It’s hard to tell initially if you are enjoying it or not. I know that sounds confusing but let’s be honest, you’re lying there with something foreign up your ass and you’re not sure if it feels that good or not. Rest assured, it is all real when you find what you are looking for.
The prostate is a lot easier to feel if you are aroused. There are a lot of conversations on here about how to achieve that. I personally love how the aneros devices feels inside me and I’m able to enjoy the autof—k when it starts. Sometimes I’ll let it begin on it’s own by lying still and focus on how good it feels just being there. Most of the time I will circle my nipples very lightly with my fingers and the involuntaries start quickly. The main focus is being aroused. Not saying your cock has to be hard. That will come during the massage. When the super o hits, your cock will get extremely hard. The dry os will continue to hit until you are flaccid. I will even dry o when flaccid but it just feels more intense when erect. I can cycle thru 3 different erections during a great session. Another thing I’ve learned is lube, lube, lube. If you are not feeling the device move inside you, It probably needs lube. Time drifts away during my sessions and I will reapply to me and my device. I enjoy all my devices but currently the PSY Syn is my go to. Hope this helps. Post your progress. I think reading and posting is arousing as well. There are great experiences and advice on this forum.
@will704 thanks for the tips! Any personal descriptions for what prostate contact feels like, or "proprioception"-wise, where it feels to you internally? A lot of people online leave it at the vague "I felt my prostate". I get that it might be hard to concretely describe it.
I'm not new to this, and have been trying for years on and off, and while I've had pleasure at times, I can't say that I've definitely been able to claim I can feel my prostate (in terms of prostate sensation, not what it feels like to a finger, although there as well, I almost exclusively use toys)
@rightbackatya toys are the way to go. They allow you to reach the prostate easily. When I massage my prostate with a toy, I have the distinct feeling of needing to pee. That also depends on the amount of pressure applied. Almost as soon as I start with my stainless steel wand, I will feel ejaculate making it way to the end of my cock. It’s accompanied by strong pleasure but it’s not an orgasm. More like milking the prostate. I have never super orgasmed with this type of massage. Now I have ejaculated from prostate massage and there is an orgasm associated with it but that’s not what we are shooting for. No pun intended.
As far as where mine is located, it’s directly behind my cock root. The bent wand is perfect for reaching it because it seems to be tucked away where it is.Aneros devices do a much better job of gently massaging and allowing you to go on and on. If I’ve missed any questions, let me know. Hope this is helpful.
@fred27 what more do you want to know? My body was on a high like I didn't know was possible in this world. It was a life changing experience...it took me over 10 years to get there. It was worth it.
@regal13 just more details about what you were using, feelings leading up to the big one, etc!
