Hey guys, this might be a stupid question, but I gotta ask it. I'm moving into a buddy's house out of town, probably until december, and I'm leaving a lot of my things in an outside storage. Right now, the aneros isn't an option for me, and I'd rather not bring my toys with me to his house- I don't want to risk them ever being discovered. Would it be ok to leave them in an outside storage?? I'm just worried about the winter weather when it comes around in november and december- could it possibly damage the toys????? Really I doubt that would happen, but I need to know that I'm leaving them in a place where they won't be damaged or weakened in any way.

Google for temperature limits for Acetal / Delrin.

White tools look OK from -40deg F. to +180deg F. That said, prolonged soaking in hot water @ 140deg F can cause an increase in moisture within the plastic.

Worst possible case: If they got several long baths in the dishwasher, were not allowed to thoroughly dry, then quickly frozen they might take some damage.

Clean 'em, dry thoroughly, seal them in a storage bag (maybe with some silica gel packets) and don't loan them to anyone headed for Antarctica.
