yes i have looked at HIH,I was just wondering if it really did more than just feel good.

I can confirm what @rook has said. I have been using Peridise models (Peristals from HIH) regularly since October 2009. I have now graduated to the smallest one but find that interchanging between it and the second smallest (18mm) once a week, works wonders.

I do find though, that I have to keep using it on a regular basis to keep the Haemorrhoids at bay. I now have no external evidence of 'rrhoids and no more bleeding.

That I can receive pleasure from Peridise use is simply a bonus.

A bit off the topic: I have found the MGX and SGX narrow necks very helpful with my rrhoids that are now under control. I find that if I hold the tail (mine is docked) then contract my sphincter muscle the whole anal canal pulls against me. I can almost feel the rrhoids being compressed and the sphincters being strengthened. While I am at it I also try to tighten the BC muscles without pulling the Aneros in with the sphinters. I certainly makes for a lot of interesting sensations. A real workout with benefits.
I can also slide a SS bar through the loop in the tail so I can hold the tail still against various muscles with ease.

Your question seemed geared partly toward another woman for your wife's interest. So, I thought I'd chime in and give you my own thoughts about the Peridise. I've not had a problem with hemorrhoids so I've not used the Peridise for that issue. However, based on other's use of the Peridise for this problem, I would state it seems to be a useful tool for hemorrhoids.
As far as using it for pleasure? I think the best woman's thread for this would be Lynn's and she hasn't been online for quite some time. I have tried the Peridise and never received a full orgasm from using it. However, I would state I felt "flutters" and I never felt discomfort. I have used the Peridise with clitoral stimulation as well and certainly there was further stimulation and pleasure with an orgasm.
Would I state it was pleasureable? Yes!
