Hey there, I've been playing with my prostate for a very long time now, but since starting using Aneros devises I noticed that sometimes I can have discomforts and dull pains. So far it has been 2 years and I have no other problems aside discomfort that can be triggered by clenching my PS muscle.

I'm not sure how can I deal with it in a long term. It only bothers mentally. What if I put too much strain on my prostate, causing inflammation and nerve irritation?

I want to enjoy prostate play and at the same time keep my pelvic region healthy.

The stinging sensation I have is similar to the tingeing sensation during orgasm but it is not pleasurable.

I'm not sure if it caused by aneros or prostate stimulation in general. Would like to hear your thoughts.

I haven't had similar problems. Might there be something else going on? Why don't you visit a doctor just to make sure nothing is wrong?

@astronaut

I've been enjoying prostate stimulation for a pretty long time, and I don't see any issues with inflammation. But if I have long sessions for many days in a row, I can experience pelvic floor tightness and discomfort, or uncomfortable little "jolts". I see it like any other kind of muscle soreness from too much work and not enough rest. Make sure you take some days off, personally I'm at a point where I need a pause, maybe a week or so.

Sounds like maybe you’re straining too hard! Have been enjoying Aneros and Aless for almost ten years and have not experienced any of the symptoms you describe. Learn to relax more and let the pleasure guide you but don’t overexert or strain during contractions! Also use a smooth amount of lube!

I was actually considering writing a similar post - If i'm following you it's like a fairly sharp pin-prick/tingle nerve type pain, or on different occasions the slow throbbing dull ache? If you are in agreement then I have the same thing. I have two theories...

- Option A would be that this is the result of increased awareness and sensitivity to everything your prostate and surrounding tissue is feeling. I noticed that the feeling is actually almost identical to the feeling of becoming suddenly aroused, where you can feel the straining/swelling of your system gearing up. So potentially just a sign of successful rewiring? If you re-frame the feeling in your mind I've found that I can actually look at these sensations as an arousal response and they start to feel intensely sexual... just an idea.

- Option B is that we've caused some kind of damage to nerves on or around the prostate. Potentially some people are more prone to this due to design? Alternatively maybe we've been poking the wrong parts for too long? Certainly something I've been considering for a while... https://community.aneros.com/forum/general-discussion/a-treasure-map-for-the-unsuccessful/

My other idea was that this is a sign of some other medical issue, but the nurse I saw was completely un-worried on account of me not having any other signs of trouble (i.e. with urination, blood, pain on ejaculation, etc)

Let me know what you think :0)
