Aneros forum denizens,

For those of you that are looking for some guided training to strengthen your PC muscles, a free app available on android might be worth checking out...

It's fairly simple with a verbal timed prompt of "contract" or "release" with the timing and repetitions based on your chosen level of difficulty. You can even set an alarm to remind you to exercise.

The app is useful for post surgical recovery (WITHOUT an aneros!) and that is often how people find it, but it was developed by the Aspen Sleep Institute because apparently weakened PC muscles played a more significant role in sleep disruption than had been previously realized. This drug free option was viewed as a better option than just giving patients sleeping pills. And it addresses the root cause more directly: If someone has to get up to use the bathroom frequently then they are likely to have disrupted sleep.

The good news is that for our purposes in this forum it might also be useful to fatigue PC muscles prior to a session and help jump start the fabled "involuntaries"

For what it's worth, though I'm still trying to get to the supper-o, the three big leaps I made in my progress came in this order:

  • Started using the Eupho Syn massager
  • Started using the Peridise massager
  • Started using the "Prostate Aerobics" app

For the security minded among us, the app only needs two permissions:

  • run at startup
  • control vibration

You can get it from the Google App Store by searching for: "Prostate Aerobics"

There may also be an iOS version, I'm not an apple guy so I don't know...

I hope some of ya'll find the app useful...

Sounds interesting!

On a similar note, there was an advert video on facebook of a kegel thing for women - a dildo shaped battery bluetooth / wifi toy you insert and then when you clench your PC muscles, it causes a game character to fly higher while the game scenery scrolls in one direction (and you have gravity so you have to keep squeezing to not crash land). You have to squeeze longer / harder / faster / more frequent in order to dodge obstacles.

Nice app. I'll try it for a week and see what it does for me.
