Hello everyone!

This is my first post as a newbie to the Aneros world.

I have a question but before I ask it, I’d just like to say wow, this forum is so great! So much positivity, compassion and support. You all are fantastic.

Ok, so I bought a Eupho Syn Trident a couple weeks ago as my first Aneros product. I have some experience with anal play but have never used a prostate massager before. I went in and bought the Eupho not really knowing what I was doing.

After about five sessions I am enjoying the Eupho sort of, but I am reading how one should have more developed muscles and experience to really appreciate what the Eupho has to offer. I say “sort of enjoying” the Eupho because I don’t really know if it’s doing (on I’m doing) what it’s supposed to be doing. I am enjoying it enough though to be certain that I want to take the journey to the Super-O as far as I can go.

I am wondering then if I should perhaps get one of the other Aneros models that are recommended for more beginner users like the MGX or the Helix. Maybe I could benefit from getting my skills together so to speak on one of these.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Hi @blaze-bird, welcome to the forum.

As you're already enjoying your Eupho why change horses?

IMHO it would only distract you from your newest experiences.

Don't fuss with the differences.

Enjoy what happens.

Good vibes!

Mart

@blaze-bird first, welcome to the wonderful world of Aneros!   You've already achieved the first task crucial for success and that's to acquire your first Aneros massager.   The Eupho is a great model and it should give you great results if used properly.  I suggest you stay with it until you gain experience in your journey; no need to look for another one.

The best advice you can receive is to curb your expectations, read the Wiki and be patient.  One day at a time; you have the rest of your life to enjoy sensations you cannot imagine are available to you.  You should also work on gaining control of your floor muscles by adopting a good regime of Kegel exercises.   @bigglansdc wrote a good one a few years ago.

Don't be afraid to ask for advice and to share your progress.  This site has a lot of members ready to provide assistance.

Good vibes to you and good luck in your venture.

G

I also welcome you to the Aneros community and invite you to read the Introductory Message to New Members which has a few hints and tips to facilitate your learning journey with the Aneros.

IMHO, you can learn to achieve Super-O's with any of the Aneros models as the learning journey is primarily a mental one (please see @cockadoodle ’s thread Penis, NOT and @rook 's thread Whole Body/Whole Mind - the mental side & @SteelColdiron 's thread Aneros: The Essential Mind State for a little insight. It might also help you to read @Neros 's post The truth behind how to "rewire".)

While the Eupho Trident isn't normally considered a beginners model (ref. The Best Aneros model is...) there actually may be some advantages to learning with this model. First, because of its agility and diminutive (relative to other models) size, it doesn't require very much force at all to cause movement, thus strong pelvic floor muscles are not required to get action. Second, because this model is the least girthy, many men find it to be the most comfortable model to insert and retain for an extended period of time. Third, because it doesn't put much pressure on the prostate it is not likely to cause any lingering discomfort from an extended Anerosession. Fourth, (this can also be a 'con' aspect) the very lack of pressure just noted in #3 forces you to focus more intently on the subtle sensations this model generates. However, after more sessions with your new massager you will probably become curious about the performance of other models as well and are likely to purchase a couple more just to satisfy that curiosity.

Good Vibes to You!

@blaze-bird, @rumel just perfectly summarised all the pros why my „classic“ Eupho Syn still is my first choice, although I’m owning the Helix Syn, the Tempo, the Progasm Ice, the Eupho trident, the Muze, the  Njoy Pure Wand, the  Nexus G-Rider and even a „realistic black dildo“ and although my amazing journey already has lasted for four years and a couple of months.

So don‘t underestimate the Noisy Cricket! 😉

Goood vibes! Mart

Eupho (the white one) is still one of my favorite. Tempo and Maximus come next, tempo is less engaging, very subtle and helped me a lot to be aware of the small little feels that start everything. Surprisingly, the Maximus may be subtle too, cajoling the whole thing, but each body is different.

I find that acquiring new toys and actually using them are 2 distinct activities- each with their own special rewards. I'd recommend buying at least one of every model. I get almost as much out of the select/purchase/anticipate delivery cycle as I get from the ritual of trying to decide which one(s) get the call. Remember- the brain is your most powerful sex organ. Welcome to the group.

I'm with 10dollarbet.  Using a variety of models and the anticipation/sensations that come from that keeps me going in search of the SO

I'm extremely tall and position makes a huge difference for me. Prostate contact is increased when I bend my knees, and even more so if I pull knees close to my stomach. On my side also works well, but then my penis makes contact with leg and it distracts me. I own Helix Classic and Progasm Ice, and favor the Progasm.

Hello everyone I just thought I'd share an update on where things are at with my Aneros project.

I have continued to grow with the Eupho. I am loving discovering all the different sensations to be had with it. One of my favorite things is pushing and pulling the device in and out of my butt with my sphincter muscles in a way that is like being penetrated. Sometimes this seems to happen on its own after I give it a gentle start. I guess this is what people mean by auto-fucking? Anyway, sometimes I lose track of the Eupho and miss the feeling of it moving in and out. I really wanted to pursue that feeling and so I bought an MGX Syn Trident yesterday thinking that the ribbed stem would give me more feelings going in and out. Also the different shape of the device would be an interesting thing to compare.

Well, I started my session last night with the MGX and was kind of disappointed. Compared to the Eupho it just kind of sat there. It felt different of course and it was nice but there was no sudden revelation of bliss or chorus of singing angels. So yeah, my expectations were a little high there so I thought I'd reserve any judgement and put it aside. I then went back to the Eupho for a really nice session.

After an hour or so I decided to give the MGX another try and lo and behold it was magic. The ribbed stem turned out to be just what I was looking for. I wound up experiencing things I never have before. Super strong involuntary contractions in my abdomen and groin along with pelvic thrusting or trembling, spasms in muscles running all over my body from head to toe (not in a single wave though...just popping up here and there...are these P-waves?). I know you're not supposed to do really hard contractions on the Aneros but I was having so much fun I just couldn't help slamming and then holding it over and over again.

Honestly I didn't sleep a wink last night and was kind of sad to finally have to get up out of bed this morning. I feel just fantastic right now. I wanted to share this experience with the forum because I didn't find much about how people felt specifically about the ribbed stem of the MGX when I was researching this recent purchase. (I can't afford it but dammit, I just know I'm going to wind up getting one of each Aneros models eventually) I also wanted to share with you all because I am just really happy right now and I know you all will understand how much fun I'm having right now. The Aneros experience for me is a totally private one so I am grateful for this forum as a place to find knowledge and kinship.

I think that the Aneros has changed my life and I really wish I had discovered it years and years ago. I am now a middle aged man but I experienced some pretty awful physical and sexual abuse through much of my childhood and into adolescence. I am finding that the experience I am having right now with the Aneros is helping me work through a lot of very negative feelings I grew up having about my body and about my sexuality. It seems that for me, there is more to "re-wiring" than just getting used to some new physical sensations. I feel a bit like a new person and that's kind of wonderful.

Thank you all.
