Hi all,

I've had the old Helix syn for maybe a year now, haven't had any success with super-o yet but I also don't use it very frequently. I was wondering if the newer Trident is a significant improvement worth trying? I do find the old p-tab a bit sharp/harsh and usually end up placing a piece of cloth for padding during sessions, so I wonder if the newer Trident is any more comfortable?

The other option I'm considering is trying a different model altogether, either the MGX syn, Prograsm Jr, or Eupho, if anyone can offer any insight/thoughts?

I can't really answer your question since I only own Classics myself, but I wanted to give your post a bump. Lots of guys have both styles and they'll be able to give a better answer.

Like you, I use padding on my devices (dropper bulbs and finger protectors, sometime a piece of folded tissue) and it's a workable solution, but I don't get a lot from the P-tab stimulation, if the tab is stimulating to you, then switching to the ball tabs for a firmer touch without padding would make a lot of sense. I do own a Classic Progasm and I prefer this style of tab over the flat design.

You really can't go wrong with the Eupho, I have a ton of devices to chose from and it's my go-to 90% of the times.

The Trident line incorporated a couple of new design concepts. The inclusion of a K-tab for added stimulation to an acupressure point posterior to the anus, slightly asymmetrical molding for multi-axial motion and slightly smaller P-tab on a slightly more flexible arm (thus reducing apparent perineal pressure). How "significant" these improvements are is largely a subjective opinion. In my opinion they are slightly more comfortable.

With regards to the Progasm Jr., I think you'll find the P-tab arm even stiffer than your Helix Classic, however, the P-tab itself is a spherical shape which is more comfortable, somewhat negating the increased arm pressure. In my opinion, both the Eupho SYN and the Helix SYN are more comfortable as the P-tab arms are even more flexible than their standard plastic brothers. Since you seem particularly sensitive to the perineal pressure I'd recommend you go with either of those models.

Good Vibes to You!

Think you will definitely like the trident Syn models as they are smoother and have flexible p and k tabs which provide more stimulation when you contract the sphincter muscle.
