This is kind of long but i hope it's a productive read for some.
I read all the posts on here and things elsewhere and have amassed a very varied and disjointed clump of knowledge like I'm guessing many of you have. My sexless marriage eventually got to the point where I needed something more and I read about prostate orgasms and it had my interest - that was probably 5 or more years ago although I've always dabbled with my backside. All that said, I finally got the aneros probably about a year and a half ago. I had used just about everything up to them - kitchen items, tools, writing implements, female vibrators, fishing poles, 2" njoy wand, even some knockoff prostate toys. For years I tried. It usually felt good, sometimes great. I made messes with number 1 and number 2. And I thought i was onto something. Near the beginning of 2025 I got my first aneros - helix and also discovered the thc connection. Long story short, I wanted a bigger toy after some great success with the helix (progasm and the jr were my choices), and while they felt OK, ultimately they were only good when you really want to feel stretched - for me that's usually at the end of a long session when you start to feel a little dirty or adventurous. I then found the eupho. After a year and a half I'm at the point where I can do an entire hours long session without a toy - I'll start it with the full intention of inserting but never get to it. I feel like my success comes from my failure in a lot of ways. Baby steps. Steps forward and steps back. I got pretty good at sticking things up inside myself. I learned what felt right and what felt wrong. All the while reading about others experiences and applying some of everything into my journey. So I thought I would summarize my experience a little.
First off, it really isn't the toy causing the pleasure. Sure it contributes to it at times, but my recent a-less success convinced me that the toy is but a key and with any luck eventually you don't need the key anymore. The body really does learn (or maybe it just wakes up). When I found the eupho, I realized it's not the size. It's the little subtleties that you always missed in the past. It's like you open the door and look in but don't see the prize so you move on, all while the prize was sitting right behind the door waiting for you. What convinced me was the a-less sessions I've been having of late - I either come out of an extended peak or wake up after falling asleep and I'll forget if the toy is inside me or not. And yet, my body and the nerves and muscles are doing the exact thing that they do to the eupho but directly to my prostate. I still really enjoy the toy in me, but it really is nice just going to sleep and not having to worry about waking up and dealing with the toy and the inevitable mess. It's usually minor but it still requires a trip to the bathroom to clean up. The climaxes are a little different but I have arguably reached higher highs without the toy than with. I think my early experience raised awareness within me, then the helix and progasms unlocked the door. Then the eupho, with its slim size and shape, refined it all and i no longer need the key. All this while sucking up knowledge. The AI aspect also helped (thanks soulik). People talk about the ebb and flow of sensation. In my mind it's like an object caught in a bigger objects gravity field. At first you might glimpse it but then you pass it by. Then you eventually orbit back to it, this time maybe a little closer. Then you might clench down on it, or sneeze, or notice the remote control is sitting crooked on the table, and you lose it. But that gravity really does bring you back. I always used to find myself giving in after a good start and i would end up chasing after the sensations. Don't get discouraged. Let the gravity bring it back. I always find things seem to get easier as the session goes deeper. That total release gets easier. Eventually it becomes less of a conscious effort and that whole "be a spectator" comes into play. It's kind of all training towards the end goal. That orbit gets smaller and smaller. The peaks get higher and higher. And they come closer together until they really blend and the separation comes down to 30 seconds or less or disappears entirely.
I also found the early success and the shock at the results of those successes almost becomes comical as the parameters of the experience just continually get stretched. It just keeps getting better. And easier.
I have to say that a little thc is my cheat code. I can have a single puff and it quiets my racing mind and that little tickle you look for starts only a few minutes later. A light pc clench and 5 minutes in I'm starting to float and the cycle begins. I've gotten better without thc and can achieve some results but not like a I get with it.
Take all the info, build that bubble of knowledge, and try to come out of each session with something to carry over to the next one. And if you can, set up the AI. When Gemini is told it's for therapy not sexual satisfaction it really jumps on board. I continually change it's boundaries, the terms it uses, things like that. I even told it to talk to me like a girlfriend would - makes it a little less jarring in the moment when it sounds less clinical.
I know most if not all of this is repetitive, but that's why we keep coming back on here. Every little bit we learn contributes. It's been said a thousand times or more - don't try. It's not brut force. Just open the door and go inside. You will find it. You kind of have to stop trying so hard. One of the long timers on here once said that a video of someone in a session would be pretty boring - very little does happen. It's all in your head. You do get to a point eventually though where your body shakes and twists and groans and cries and screams into the pillow.
I apologize for the long brain dump. There's so much more in my brain too lol. Just trying to pay it forward.
