While reading about semen retention, @rumel stated
You might also consider beginning a practice regime of occasional prostate milking in lieu of ejaculatory activity.

Being a newbie I am probably misunderstanding your comment. From what I have read so far from others is that I really don't have control over milking vs. ejaculation. Am I missing something here? Is there a way to induce only milking without an ejaculation?
@washpci, Welcome to Aneros Forum.

I guess you could say there is a fine line between milking and ejaculation, but for me it is indeed different. For me, milking is best achieved with the njoy pure wand, using the small 1 inch ball, and using the large 1.5 inch ball outside. the small ball and about 3 maybe 4 inches of shaft are inside, the rest outside looking like a gearshift. I use it as a lever - gently - and milking delivers a slow steady flow of thin, milky clear fluid. Its not precum, its not semen. It is part of what makes up semen, without the sperm and without the thickening stuff. While doing this I feel mild to moderate pleasure and an incredible feeling of peace and contentment. After a while I feel done and clean up and put things away, feeling satisfied yet energized for days. there is usually no erection, and there are no orgasmic spasms or squirts. Just a slow gentle flow that stops if I stop moving the wand then restarts when I start moving it again.

That's what I want to do. I feel like I've been really really lucky with the multiple orgasms, and everything I've learned and discovered over the last 3-4 years. But I've never got the technique figured out for how to do this.

@wetdream63, "this thin, milky clear fluid" which you speak of, is it Prostatic fluid which you milked from your prostate with your Njoy Pure Wand?
Yes, I believe that it is.

You may be thinking that 'milking' is an involuntary emission of prostate fluid as a result of prostate massage. This is true to a certain extent but is not always an outcome of prostate massage. A 'milking' can be be forced if sufficient pressure is applied to the prostate gland, this is an involuntary response much like milk being extracted from a mother's breast by the suckling action of a baby's mouth. A doctor may use his finger to press on the prostate to obtain a fluid sample for examination/diagnostic purposes. This type of 'milking' may be both physically and psychologically uncomfortable, painful and if done too forcefully even injurious. This type of forced 'milking' may be a component of BDSM play but prostate milking can also be done in a much more pleasant and gentle manner by a couple or by one's self.

Is there a way to induce only milking without an ejaculation?
Yes, an ejaculation is an emission semen brought on by involuntary spasmodic pumping action of the various pelvic floor muscles and the simultaneous contractions of the prostate gland. By contrast, if the massage is concentrated on the prostate and the other pelvic floor muscles are relaxed then a pleasurable 'milking' (emission) may take place. You need to be in a physically relaxed state and the massage needs to be consistent, gentle but firm enough to apply a slight amount of pressure to the prostate to start compressing the tiny fluid filled sacs (acini) within the prostate. This compression creates fluid pressure, with gradually increasing fluid pressure the valves for the ejaculatory ducts will eventually open up and the fluid enters the urethra and exits via the penis. Some men naturally, easily release their fluid during massage whilst others do not and it may take considerable massage time for the ducts reach their critical release pressure. There are a number of other factors which can also affect a successful 'milking'

Thanks so much to all of you!
WOW, it looks like there is lots of information out there in the forums already. Because I am new also to the forums, I am still learning how to use them. Your links have helped me learn how to do searches, I hope, in the future, to not duplicate previous forum threads. I apologize for doing so this time and thank you also for your patience with me.
Your information has been very helpful and yes... My questions were fully answered. Thanks again!
