They've been out of stock for what looks like the past two years but they're still listed, anyone know when or if they're gonna restock? They're very useful.

Honestly I'd recommend grabbing a bottle of liquid non-glycerin lube with a wide neck, so that you can take a lube syringe/shooter to load up by yourself. That way you can experiment with different lube brands and find what works best for you. Have you tried that before? I haven't tried the Marksman or other Aneros brand lubes so I'd be interested in knowing your thoughts on their performance if you have.

@poseidon I really liked the Marksman capsules, the consistency is great and they last well over the couple of hours that I usually ride for. It's mostly the convenience of them I like too, they're all the perfect amount, individually sealed, easy to open and use one handed. But mostly they made it really easy to get into the routine of having "spontaneous" rides without having to use the syringe method because that requires cleaning the syringe and filling and planning and it's just an extra step that the marksman capsules eliminate. I think it's the same formula as the lube they carry in the bottles, so if you're familiar with that and like it then you'll enjoy the capsules. 🙂

I can't remember the last time I remember them being in stock but I wonder if environmental concerns play into this at all, as that's a lot of disposable plastic for one session.  Considering everywhere's out (I don't see them listed on the Aneros site at all), don't expect to get them back.

Besides the solution of a (reusable) lube applicator, I would point out that there have been discussions/arguments on here previously about how much lube is too much, whether prelubing is actually necessary, etc.  I'm a preluber myself and agree that the reusable applicator makes it a bigger production than I usually want.  Usually I just lube up a finger and stick it up there a few times after my pre-session BM, that also will tell me if I'm all clean and ready to go.
