I see some ppl use vaseline as a base layer. If I do that any other lube just slides off the device. How are you getting  your water-based lube where you want it? TIA

The best way to accomplish this would be to pre-lube by injecting a small amount of water-based lube in your anal canal, using a lube shooter. Otherwise you can put some lube on your finger and work it up there. Then use only vaseline on your device.

Lube shooters are inexpensive and an easy way to put lube where you want it! Most will hold several ounces or more.

I use a natural jelly like lubricant that I adapted for my own needs (the original formula was posted in this forum)

  • 20g shea butter

  • 10g food grade bees wax

  • 40g coconut oil

I melt it all in the microwave, mix well and pour into a small plastic container. Let it sit in the fridge until it solidifies, cut it up into suppository size sticks and freeze them.

Whenever I want to have a session, I take 1 out of the freezer, and slowly put it up my ass and let it sit there for 5 minutes before starting the session to give the chance for oils to soften.

The advantage of this lube is that it's natural, can last for hours (basically until your next bowel movement) and I do not need anything else for my session. I just slowly work aneros into my ass and put it in and out until aneros covers with lube. I've tried many lubes and many methods, but this one is the most convenient, cheapest and slickest (because you can change the formula for your own needs)

Rather than petroleum jelly, I use this plant-based product:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002N2LBCY/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I then put on a light coating of water-based lube. I really like this one:

https://www.babeland.com/sex-toys/p/BL1674/babeland/babelube-gel?lref=Srch||a|1|c|0||toy_category|0

The 16oz size comes in a pump bottle. It has no parabens or other weird stuff so is good for anal. It’s great for sex as well.

The combination is easy and lasts a long time, even good for all day plugs.

I'll prelube my asshole with some ID Glide, and use Slippery Stuff Gel on the Aneros itself: it's thick enough that it will stick well without making a mess.  So far it's the only lubricant I've found that works well enough for this purpose.  Slippery Stuff is a company like Sliquid that makes products that are body-safe for women's vaginas (pH balanced, no artificial ingredients, etc) so I feel like they're a company worth supporting.

Had been using anal glide previously inside as well as on my Aneros. This morning decided to try something different - applied anal glide in my anal canal then coated my Aneros with CVS petroleum jelly and what a difference it made! Both my HSV and Vice2 moved much more smoothly and felt more stimulating on my prostate yielding one long continuous O! Thanks to those who tried and reported on their success using this combo!
