You can also choose to do a rectal rinse like FuzzyWuzzy mentioned. An inexpensive way to do this is to buy a Fleet enema (or store brand name equivalent). Make sure it is the saline version. Dump the enema solution down the drain, rinse it out and use very luke warm water. Makes for an inexpensive rectal rinse device.
