I survived the first two one-hour sessions without discharging my weapon.

My third session was two hours and I decided to go for a grand finale, and what a finale it was! I also ordered a mocha lady wonder-wave insert for backup.

I must say that the STU is the ultimate "alternative treatment", seventh heaven, bliss beyond words. I am having those lovely glowing sensations in my tropical zone all day long and a tremendous feeling of well-being. It works wonders for depression, and my blood pressure is way down. I'm feeling fantastic!

By the way, I don't get "blue balls" because I do EMD at the same time to distribute the pleasure throughout my whole body. Along with the simultaneous prostate massage, this helps the body to reabsorb the semen and so reduce the pressure. I can never soften up while I'm in the STU even when I stop all movement, so I have to pull out solid. Then I stand and do the "cool draw" to further dissipate the pleasure throughout my body. I thought of creating a new thread, but as this is about another product I decided to continue on this thread.

I received my replacement STU and spare WW Fleshlight inserts a couple of weeks ago and I examined them very carefully on arrival. Both seemed to be in perfect condition. My replacement STU is still a virgin as I've been using the WW. I rested a week before getting into the WW.

But after my first one-hour session with the WW the corners of the opening were starting to tear, just a millimeter or so. The tears grew with each subsequent use. After four sessions totaling about 5 hours, the tears were several millimeters in each corner and several cracks had appeared inside the opening. These were enough to spoil the feel of the opening around the base of my penis. During my final session last night, after about 70 minutes I felt something else not right. Ten minutes later I decided to wind down and quit. On removal from the case, the insert had a two inch gaping hole in the side.

I've handled the insert with great care according to the instructions, used tons of Boy Butter H2O lube, and I've been very careful not to poke it with my fingers. On further inspection I found another tear on the inside that had not yet gone all the way through. These devices are supposed to accommodate a big eight by six, but I'm a more moderate seven and a bit by five and a quarter.

It seems that most guys only last a few minutes in the FL, so will probably get a hundred short sessions, perhaps a year of use. But I've come to the conclusion that they are not up to the demands of us more mature guys that are used to enjoying ourselves for hours at a time. So I got just one week out of my STU and one week out of my WW. I'm afraid to break-in my replacement STU if I'm only going to get a week out of it.

I see, however, that Aneros only sell the original FL which has a 3/4 inch canal, whereas the STU and WW have tighter 1/2 inch canals. So I wonder if Aneros only recommend the original model to the Aneros community because the tighter models are just too delicate for us mature guys.

So I would say that the STU and WW are heavenly while they last, but for guys who enjoy sex for one or two hours at a time every other day, then don't expect to get more than a week out of 'em before they are ready for the trash.

Sorry to hear about your troubles with the Fleshlights. I've had mine about 2 years now with an average session lasting 30 minutes or so several times a week, if not daily, and mine are still in great condition. The material is very stretchy so I doubt that the 1/4 inch diameter reduction in size from the Original would matter. If anything, the Original would frustrate you even more since it is totally smooth. Your penis acts as a squeegee and it pushes the lube up the canal requiring you to add more and more lube or stop and wait for it to flow back down.

I'd take pictures and return it back to ILF. It sounds like you've already done this once before so hopefully they won't give you any grief about it. They seem to have great customer service.

My only other recommendation for you is to switch lubes. Boy Butter H2O is still new and perhaps it has some chemicals in it that degrade the Fleshlight material. I use ID Glide primarily but have also used Astroglide as well. Your long sessions may also be a factor. It could be that the constant heat from your penis gradually wears down the material. With shorter sessions, this evidently isn't a problem. However, since a lot of users heat their Fleshlights in very hot water (for 10-15 minutes) the lower but longer term heat may not be an issue here.

You may have to do some experimentation: try a different lube and shorter sessions. The problems you are having seem to crop up pretty fast so you should be able to tell if one of them starts to have a problem. If everything looks good after a couple weeks, start increasing the session length. Gosh, that sounds like a lot of work to monitor your session length, but think of it as helping out your fellow man. 🙂 If longer sessions or the lube is the culprit you can report this back to ILF so they can improve the formula or warn users against using Boy Butter H2O with the Fleshlight. Also, if you haven't already, write this up on the Fleshlight Forum to see if anyone else has had problems with long sessions or Boy Butter H2O lube.

Thank you for your detailed reply. After what you say, it surely has to be the Boy Butter H2O that is compromising the Fleshlight material. I soak my insert in warm water also, but during use it is so well lubed that the material should never rise above my local body temperature.

Fleshlight sell ID and Wet 3-pack, so I just went online and ordered some from them, and I couldn't resist ordering an extra STU at the same time for backup! I would expect that the lube they sell on their website has been thoroughly tested with the insert material. I was a fool for using anything other than what they sell.

So my hope has returned and the world is looking brighter again. I'll photograph the damage and email it to ILF as you suggested, but I won't request a replacement this time because it now seems that it is not really their fault.

That is a real disappointment. I have the STU and my sessions have been approaching the 1 hour mark. Right now I am using ID glide which seems to be working pretty good. Not that long ago when I was out of lube, I used some hand lotion which I am sure is not good. So far, I am good. I just don't understand how you could be getting holes in the body of the thing! That sounds like a manufacturing problem....like your last issue. I would talk to them and see what they can come up with as a solution for you. Onthepath is right too about posting it on their forum and see if anyone there has any suggestions.

I'll post on the FL forum (haven't signed up yet) and check for feedback there. But as you and Onethepath are both in the Tantric Master league and neither of you have experienced any problems, I'm convinced that the Boy Butter H2O is what is disintegrating my inserts. The inside of the insert has become very delicate, and comes apart as easy as if it were made of jelly (Jello to Americans). Although the BB-H2O is "water-based" there must be some ingredient that has caused the catastrophic structural failure of my first STU and now my WW.

So tonight, out comes my virgin STU, but this time with the sample ID Glide they included with it.

Thought that this thread needed a revitalization as there are many different excercises and practices that can help bring some of the new members here to be more intune with their bodies and maybe help them along on their journey.
