My problem - 'Hollow' or 'Empty' traditional orgasms

Hiya,

This seems like the best place to post this, as everyone is so receptive and helpful here. I have notice throughout my adult life that I go through long periods where traditional masturbation, whilst pretty darn nice, fails to give much intensity of feeling from the actual ejaculation/orgasm.

In other words, I enjoy the act of masturbating and the just-going-over-the-edge sensation is as powerful as ever, but once the orgasm (and ejaculation muscle contractions) really start, it's not uncommon for me to not really experience and particularly intense or pleasurable 'orgasmic' sensations. The muscles tense, breathing quickens and teeth clench, but it's almost like a switch somewhere hasn't been flicked to turn the orgasmic signal on.

I have no erection problems or anything else that would indicate prostate problems, but for the most part while the masturbation and the exciting last dash to the point-of-no-return are present and correct, once the actual ejaculation starts, the strong orgasmic sensations seem to be strangely absent, leading to a rather depressing feeling of dissatisfaction and frustration.

I do still have the occasional incredibly intense orgasms that makes my head spin, but by and large, they're rather hollow and disappointing. I've experimented with prostate massage (with my fingers and a dildo) and stimulation to see if it can help, but while it makes the build up incredibly intense, the orgasm itself is, again, strangely absent.

Does anyone else have any similar experiences? It's hard to tell if it's some sort of chemical thing, or perhaps a psychological block, but it's pretty annoying. Sadly, due to my living arrangements, I'm still not the proud owner of an aneros (although I will be soon!), but does anyone else have similar experiences where the aneros has helped?

Thanks.

P.S I do have some good news, however. In my latest prostate-stim session, I was using a prostate massager and whilst lying on my side with one leg bent and breathing deeply, I started to experience slow-building contractions that started as tiny twitches (almost like the muscles were pulsing around the intrusion) and built into strong thrusts that lasted for about 20 seconds. These contractions seemed to be milking my prostate, and there were several times when I felt a significant but indistinct pleasurable tingling throughout my crotch. I did not feel any intense or long-lasted pleasure, but I imagine these contractions to be similar to super-o spasms, minus the orgasmic feelings.

Now after I feel a little sore (understandably), but I seem to have far more physical awareness of my prostate, it feels large enough to notice when I clench my abdomen and I occasionally experience slight pleasurable flutters from it.

I know, I REALLY need an aneros, I hope my body's powerful reactions to the presence of a prostate stimulator bode well for the aneros, and that the lack of any really intense pleasure during my orgasmic plateau doesn't hint at some deeper physiological or psychological malady that will permanently hamper my search for stronger orgasms.

Hi VicViper,

I can only speak from my experience, in that some of the best traditional orgasms of my life have been while the Aneros was in use. More intense and longer lasting. I hope it will work the same for you.

There have been many threads in this forum about dietary supplements that can help. Since your parts seem to be operating properly and so much of your orgasm is driven by your brain, maybe your body is lacking something that it needs nutritionally. It is just a thought.

Good luck to you.

Buster

Hello VicViper,

I suspect your "living arrangements" may have everything to do with your disappointing orgasms. Even the slightest anxiety about privacy or limited time, or fear of being heard, is a major block to being able to enjoy oneself to the maximum. I bet all will be well after your living cirumstances change.

I haven't had this with traditional orgasms, but this pretty much describes what I've been experiencing lately with my Aneros. I'll get pleasure waves and whatnot, then sometimes get a building pre-orgasmic feeling (like crossing past the point of no return with normal masturbation), then where there would normally be a orgasm/ejaculation, I feel nothing. I even had the same thing happen when I was trying one of the external prostate massages linked by Darwin lately.

The whole thing is confusing and frustrating as I have no idea why it just drops off like that. I don't know if I'm just not making it across the gateway into orgasm land, if something is happening and I'm not feeling it, if something is suppose to happen, or if my mind is somehow blocking me at the last minute.
