Emotional Release Orgasms

I was wondering if other people experience these, and what they think of this experience. I'm talking about orgasms that are very pleasurable, but not sexual in nature. Crying fits, or long periods of tears just streaming down your face and a deep sense of release, but again not focuses on the genitals.

Or laughing uncontrollably like you just heard the funniest joke ever, or just a big dumb smile and thinking that after all, things are all right in the world. Both of these releases are an end to themselves for me and do not transition to more "standard" Super-Os, if there is such a thing.

I believe I read about this happening to other guys, but I don't remember who it was, and my search-fu is very weak today.

Thanks in advance guys !

I had the latter once not too long ago, where I couldn't stop giggling, and had the widest smile on my face. It was complete heaven. The afterglow was terrific as well!

Yes, I did have some bouts of laughing uncontrollably especially back when I was smoking pot (laughs followed by munchies LOL).

I also experience the reverse; bouts of anxiety with no real reasons.  Since the beginning of my journey,  my body and mind have changed a lot.  My mind processes situations differently and I got to know my body like never before (in my previous 60 some odd years).

I find myself to be more emotional although I don't cry much.

Can't explain it but it is an interesting topic.

Yes, early on in my Aneros journey I had a few of these emotional release orgasms where tears of bliss were shed. I think this journey has contributed to my emotional healing and spiritual growth in very positive ways.

From the website White Lotus East -> "The G-Spot or Sacred Spot of a man is his prostate gland. Tantric philosophy considers the G-Spot a man's emotional sex center. Massaging the man's prostate releases tremendous amounts of emotional and physical stress."
"As powerful as physiological stimulation might be, it pales when compared to the immeasurably greater psychological or mental high."

@B-Mayfield didn't label these devices called "Tantric Training Wheels" without reason.

In a related topic you might find Michael Winn's article The Quest for Spiritual Orgasm interesting.

Good Vibes to You!

That sounds wonderful! It has never happened to me, though I find both uncontrollable laughter and uncontrollable crying to be incredibly cathartic (though I prefer the life circumstances that lead to laughter).

can you shed light on the circumstances in which this happens? During aless? With a toy? During meditation?

I don't know precisely why I'm getting them... They come during Aless sessions where I allow my mind to wander, for some reason my libido is not fantastic recently and I have trouble focusing on the prostate sensations. I end up thinking about some past events and I get really emotional and then I get some sort of build-up and release, I've had several of the crying ones  and they are really bittersweet and can last a long time... Laughing ones I had experienced before during Super-O buildup, when it just starts to feel so good that you just have to laugh at it.

I've had numerous emotional release orgasms. More often they are crying. But I've had the uncontrolled laughing variety as well. They tend to happen when I'm trying something new that's working. Often there's a beautiful sweetness with the crying-Os and I can feel great happiness during them. With the free November trial of Mindgasm, which for the most part is Aless, in three sessions had crying and in the last session where I had an emotional release orgasm, I had all out sobbing. Until the Mindgasm trial, I never had much luck with Aless.

I have experienced the uncontrollable laughter on a few occasions, and a few years ago when I experienced the Super-O for the first time, I felt a release like never before on my life...like the weight of the world was gone; replaced by total pleasure.

I clearly understand how it could go into a crying/sobbing experience, but that never those reactions have never visited me in a session. A lot of strange emotions/thoughts/memories passed through my mind in the lead up to SO, though, and it could have easily gone that way. Had my wife been interested in what I was going through, I think I probably would have had a breakdown crying release.

I never have been able to return to the breathing and meditation level I had at that time, and I feel like that is what puts me in the heightened awareness state that would trigger such an emotional response.

I don't understand how all that can change throughout this journey, but I gave up the breathing exercises in large part when it become like trying to concentrate on riding a unicycle with a broken wheel...my method moved to more of a just try to relax and enjoy the pleasure feelings. Now I get orgasms with Aneros and a-less, but they have never carried off so much release as back then. They are frequent and repeatable, though!

Never during. I’ve had some tears after big experiences sometimes. But I think it’s exhilaration, joy and disbelief.

I seem to remember reading that women can often cry during orgasm, so it always seemed natural that the same might happen with men and prostate orgasms.  I think it's happened once or twice where I started to sob but I (inadvertently) shut it down.

This is an interesting thread to read especially if you haven't reached the SO level yet.   We mostly focus on what a SO will probably feel like based on what we read in this forum but we never give a thought about how we will react mentally and emotionally.

Once the SO is reached, we know what to expect and how we'll mentally handled it.
