Do other readers experience this? I think it makes anatomical sense given the bladder and prostate are colocated. I haven’t pushed the envelope-don’t want to chance an “accident”- but the beginnings of an awareness of NTP has been doing things for me lately. I must be growing sensitive by way of translating pelvic signals into pleasure.
I am just curious if you find yourself starting an A-less session as a result of NTP?. Two recent starts of an A-less practice session were aided with that. Thanks.

Yes, I think this is quite common and completely makes sense. The prostate is surrounded by a rete of nerves called the 'veil of Aphrodite'. As the bladder fills it exerts pressure on this neural rete contributing to the 'need to pee' sensation. Likewise, as most members have observed, when initiating prostate massage with their Aneros devices that same neural rete is also stimulated, thus a similar 'need to pee' sensation.
Since we Aneros users have learned to associate that sensation with the instigation of pleasure waves, it is entirely logical that we might then also associate that actual 'need to pee' sensation with the instigation of an Anerosless session for pleasure generation purposes. It is a strange and wonderful psychological transference of what is normally a distress alert sensation ('need to pee') into one of pleasure generation. Of course you can only play with those sensations for a limited amount of time before those sensations escalate into actual distress and the need to void your bladder.

I have this sensation sometimes (not always strangely enough) and have in fact used it to good effect. When I first noticed it I wasn't sure if it was a 'need to pee (NTP), or if it was my body wanting to expel some precum. I got some towels under me and then actually tried to relax enough to let whatever wanted to come out, be expelled. I figured the worst that could happen was it was pee and would just need to leap into the shower. The relaxation and mental image of loads of precum being released from me soon had me experiencing the most intense penile orgasms. Nothing flowed fourth, just the usual amount of precum. I am now pretty confident that I won't pee and this has become part of my sessions, when it does show itself. There is though a subtle difference when you do have to actually pee, which I have learned to recognise.
'veil of Aphrodite'
Pretty. Those explanations make sense, but why does it seem that the bladder fills faster during sexual activity? Or is it just that what would normally be a retainable amount of urine in the bladder becomes a unbearable due to additional stimulation of the veil of Aphrodite.
I noticed early on in my aneros use that a slight need to pee accelerates orgasmic sensations for me, but when it becomes too urgent, it is more annoying than pleasureful. After peeing mid session, sometimes I feel like I have been taken down a few orgasmic rungs.
I have long noticed an urge to pee during masturbation and sex as well, and it is a common phenomenon for women to get an urge to pee during sexual stimulation. Is this only from proximity of the bladder? Also how does it all tie in with squirting (male and female)?

I don't know but my guess would be that increased physical activity may just accelerate normal body processes.

Yes, I think this is probably a pretty common reaction. Breaking the reverie of a session to urinate takes a bit of time (sometimes never) for me to get back to the same level. That's why I make sure I void my bladder before beginning an Anerosession.

I'm pretty confident the proximity to the bladder is a significant factor for both men and women. As to the squirting phenomenon, I don't know, as I haven't had any experience with it myself or with a female partner.
