As the title suggests, recently learned about Yoga Nidra and the process of Super-O sounds similar to those of a Yoga Nidra. Would love to hear everyone’s opinions about what they think and what are some of the similarities and the differences

Yoga Nidra is like a lucid dream state where you focus on a mantra, a statement or something you want to visualize in your life and make it happen, and you kind of sleep but not really, usually its guided. It doesn't have to be, but without a guide, you kind of just wind up sleeping haha

Nidra is also kind of a long process, it takes time and lasts a while as you are engaged in the meditation. By "lasts a while" I mean like 45 minutes to an hour. I have a CD that has a guided Nidra meditation on it that lasts like 55 minutes; a workshop I attended we did a guided Nidra practice that lasted 45 minutes. Orgasms are pretty powerful or at least have some kind of "snap to it!" feeling that makes you realize you had one. Nidra is like drifting, like flying over a field you want to touch down on but at the same time you don't want to. My experiences doing Nidra meditation at least is like this.
