Hello, i was looking for help in dealing with the custom's hold of an aneros product i have recently bought. The dhl requires me to send them a copy of the CE certificate for the product, that being a black progasm. if anyone knows where i could find such a document (already contacted the support) it would help a ton. thanks in advance for your time.

Why do they want that?

DHL sent me one of the Aneros from the US to the EU and they never needed any CE certificates.

Did you order it from a reputable company?

This is like me going to a sofa shop and before the shop gives me the new sofa I just bought, they need me to provide them with the manufacturer's test certifications (which only the manufacturer should be able to provide).

@lonewolf8 thanks for the response! i have no clue as to why, but i bought the product from this very site. Might be a labeling mishap? Maybe they thought i was reselling the item? i have no clue, but i hope this can be resolved quickly as apparently the customs storage is limited and in just a few days i will have to start paying it for holding my product...

just to give some info i live in italy, but i doubt it has to do with any new trade regulation between usa and europe..

@groucho78 i've only experienced Italian post once when my parcel was delayed a few weeks and there were postal strikes in the country. I read it's common for parcels to go missing and stolen. I hope it's not held to ransom.

Maybe a labelling mishap - you should contact Aneros directly to ask them about the labelling.

However, I have found this: https://www.privacyshield.gov/article?id=Italy-Import-Requirements-and-Documentation

I wonder if Aneros mis-labelled the Progasm to be "an electronic device with a battery" i.e. Aneros Vice or Vice 2, which have a battery and electricals inside it, which would then need a CE mark  (search on the page I liked for "CE" mark)

@lonewolf8 dhl sent the packaging label as well which states the product being an “acupressure massage device”. im not sure if this would cause problems with the customs. Either way i contacted the support on saturday when i received the first email, but given that aneros support isnt active on saturday/sunday i still haven’t received a response, which is really unfortunate given the three days limit of the custom storage, after which ill have to probably pay a fee. Either way ill try to contact the support service again tomorrow if i still don’t receive any response. thank you for your help though, its greatly appreciated!
