Hello everyone, I'm copying a reddit post I made on the r/aneros subreddit here because I've seen a lot of insightful answers while lurking! I would appreciate any answers and suggestions, thanks!
I've lurked here for a while but after all the rave I've seen over these prostate massagers and the severe lack of physical contact I've had with others because of COVID. I kind of went all out though and got two tenga fleshlights in addition to the aneros Helix Trident and some lube. They all came in today, and as you can imagine, I'm very eager to test out the aneros and the tenga, especially since I've gone about 4 or so days without jacking off. Additionally, these are my very first sex toys, so I've been antsy all day to be able to give them a spin.
I was planning on popping in the aneros for about an hour, or whatever feels right to me, and just relaxing with it in while not doing anything with my penis. To finish off the session though, I really wanted to use my new fleshlight along with the aneros. Will this impede me in rewiring if I finish off my aneros sessions in this way? Is this something that's okay to do, but only once in a while?
My goal is to eventual be able to reach a Super-O with just the aneros, and so I didn't want to lengthen this process more than necessary. I understand from what I've read here and on the official aneros forum that the best results come when expectations aren't present, which is why I wanted to use the helix for about an hour or however I can manage to take before I absolutely need to use the tenga. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thank you!!
In my opinion, it won't hurt anything. As long as you refrain your touching your penis during the actual session you should be good to go! Enjoy it! Also I would highly highly recommend not setting a time limit on achieving a super-o. This will be detrimental imo to your pleasure and sessions. Re-wiring is a marathon not a sprint. Just enjoy whatever comes however it comes. Try different positions and see which works best for you. Also keep in mind that what works for me might not work for you and vice versa.

It is impossible to know for sure if going for Super-T's from the beginning of your Aneros journey will impede your learning progress toward understanding and attuning to the process of prostate based orgasms. IMHO, it would be best to separate penile masturbation from learning prostate massage sensations until you are well acquainted with your prostate's response patterns. It might help to read @cockadoodle ’s thread Penis, NOT and @rook 's thread Whole Body/Whole Mind - the mental side to understand the psychological reasoning and value of separating the two differing approaches to orgasmic pleasure.

Of course it is OK to go for those Super-T's as there are no real 'rules' for how you use your Aneros massagers but I think you will progress faster towards obtaining Super-O's when you develop strong neural pathways in your brain specifically aligned with prostate stimulation techniques and not cross wiring with penile stimulation techniques.

IMHO, dropping expectations of effects/sensations is critical to the learning process (please read my Introductory Message to New Members which has a few hints and tips to facilitate your learning journey with the Aneros). I know this is difficult, after all, you bought these devices to have wonderful orgasms but if you can think of this process as an adventure in uncharted territory and approach it with an open mind, I think you will have successes earlier rather than later. I would advise that you avoid all penile based orgasms on the days you use your Aneros tools until you have achieved your first few prostate based orgasms. Further, I would advise you to avoid going for Super-T's until after you have experienced your first Super-O. There are members on the forum who do not agree with this more strict learning regime so you have to decide if you have the discipline to learn this way.
Good Vibes to You!
I'd say go with your arousal and what arouses you. I finished with a traditional ejaculation after my first session and suffered no problems. Your first session may feel different as you adjust to the sensations behind prostate and anal pleasure. The more experience you have, the more you'll know how you want to do your sessions, including if and when you'd want to include penile stimulation during or after a session.
Thanks everyone who responded! I ended up having a great time last night, and did wind up finishing with a penile orgasm. On one hand, this orgasm was absolutely amazing and hit in a way no other orgasm has, but on the other I didn't really like the feeling of being forced to contract so hard on the aneros. Much to my surprise, I don't see myself doing this again in the future, as just the aneros was enough to have a great time. I'm super shocked at how far I was able to get last night, I'll probably make another post about how my first time went, unless there's a different thread where I should put this. Thanks for everyone's insight!
