I'm new to using the Aneros and have experimented with it a few times. I am confused how one is to get aroused without getting an erection. I've seen that is is done by many posters here. Looking at porno, or reading about sexual adventures, or whatever it takes. Arousal without an erection seems illogical. Once one learns to get aroused without an erection, is one still able to have regular sex? I thought the point of getting aroused was to get an erection, thus having the ability to have sex. It is confusing to understand. Seems like some kind of reverse psychology at play? If anyone can help, I would appreciate the insight. Thanks
Hello, @cat1off and welcome to the forum 🙂
I`m quite new at the Aneros myself, but now know that your question is a legitimate one.
I, however, have found out that I can be aroused for the aneros, after some erotic hypno-tracks or a movie, without having an erection.
Sometimes, though, the erection does come, but goes away after a while.
As I see it, the dick has a brain of it`s own; if it knows it won`t "get any" it don`t have to get erected 😛
It has to do with your mental focus. The focus needs to be on your prostate, not your penis.
I remember one night, I had started an hour earlier, then my wife joined me.
Allthough no erection at first, once the dick found out it was getting "some", it was "attention on deck!".
Have fun 😉
Nobody is saying are erections are a bad thing but playing with your cock confuses the new Aneros user. Get aroused how ever you like but leave the work to the Aneros and not your hands.
Touch yourself as if you were touching a women in foreplay. Chest, nipples, earlobes, base of penis, perineum. With the Aneros, you'll find you have more erogenous zones than just your penis

Yes mostinteresting. Cat1off, find the other erogenous places around your body. Feel free to explore. Do it while riding or not. What feels sexy to you? If it gives you an erection, that means you're aroused.
:-))
I'm not being facetious by saying that. Notice how you feel all over your body when you're aroused with an erection. I get a sensation of butterflies in my belly, kind of an excited feeling. I also get a racing heartbeat, warmth in my chest, and/or a feeling of freefall. Usually now this is without an erection. You've probably noticed similar feelings when you're attracted to someone but before you get an erection. That's what they mean by arousal. Look for it when you're riding and you'll find it. Erections are only part of arousal and not a necessary part.
cat1off,
The term arousal may have multiple interpretations, some men equate the term to an erect(ing) penis but I see that as a very limited interpretation. I invite you to read the thread Are you "aroused"? to gain a wider perspective of what we are talking about here in the forum when the term "arousal" is used. You may also find the thread Aneros, Arousal & Abstinence of some value in understanding how the term is used on this forum.
Good Vibes to You !
