Anything on the TV besides porn?

Fishing for something to put on the television that isn't porn.

After a nice dry-O starts fading, I often have a several minutes before another one warms up and really gets running. All I have to do is wait for it. One of three things typically happens at that point:

1. Close eyes, relax into sleep.
2. Open eyes, uncomfortably stare at blank television, get bored, quit.
3. Turn on some porn, touch myself, jerk off, quit.

I'd like to try putting something on the television to fill a few empty minutes. Something minimally interesting but not offensively vapid. Non-sexual stimulation that won't interfere with sexual stimulation.

Has anybody tried something like this? Open to specific recommendations or general suggestions.

Amazing! You describe it exactly the way it happens to me.

Maybe a slideshow of images rather than porn videos?

@PSLabs, How about a Virtual Campfire? There are many to choose from on the internet.

Here is something I found interesting. I haven't used it yet, but just listening to it for a few minutes it felt like it was working.

Another one: https://youtu.be/yHTb4fUHUT4

Also, the better I get at having dry orgasms, the less porn seems distracting. I think porn is most helpful at the beginning of a session. After that I don't even pay attention much other than staring blankly at the tv. Right now prob half my sessions are with a playlist, while the other half are with nothing but my imagination.

Thanks, all. Good ideas.

@orgazmo's first video hits close to the mark, but not for its intended content. The visual patterns are more interesting to me than the binaural beats. I'ma keep that one bookmarked. I think I'll bust out WinAmp and try some of the visualizations with muted music.

Expanding @rumel's suggestion into generalized outdoor ambience, "relaxation" is the inescapable theme. I'm still poking at this one to see if I can find the perfect thing. Ironically, much of what I find is phony or overdone to the point that it's not at all relaxing. Water sounds are pervasive in the genre, as if I need an extra reason to stop and go pee.

I accidentally tried @Sorena_'s slideshow suggestion. The Amazon FireTV Stick's default screensaver is a nice slideshow of landscapes. Very good photos. Interesting without being engrossing. Pretty damn close to what I asked for.

I set up an IP camera to try watching myself. That was . . . unsettling. And just a little disheartening: the guy on the TV had a cock nicer than mine.

Non-sexual stimulation that won't interfere with sexual stimulation. The reason I suggested the campfire video is that it appeals/relates to our primitive brains biological programming from the time before recorded history when we were a hunter/gatherer species. The fire was a focal point as a source of heat, light and protection from an otherwise indifferent environment. Time spent around the campfire was likely relaxing and a man's thoughts could drift in a myriad of directions but focusing on the gradually changing, burning embers probably induced meditative, trance like states. Obviously we will be missing the full experience as we don't have the olfactory and tactile sensory feedback but the mind can help fill those in drawing from past experiences. It is in these mental states where the subtlety of pleasure most easily emerges and creativity flourishes. IMHO, those primitive responses are encoded in our DNA as instinctual behaviors and we can evoke those responses by simply returning to the stimulus source, in this case, the campfire. I'm willing to bet our primitive ancestors would thoroughly have enjoyed using an Aneros device while laying next to a campfire under an animal skin blanket.

A stimulating analysis. Fire and companionship echo and strengthen each other's warmth and protective aspects. I had not thought deeply about why fire and romance are so heavily connected.

As a product of civilization, or perhaps as a consequence of it, I have no direct need for fire. Not since I quit smoking, anyway. I think of it more as a source of danger than as a source of safety. I will see if those thoughts disconnect when I'm in a more receptive state, so to speak.

The journey challenges me in ways I did not anticipate.

Rumel – Once again you have lifted my spirit higher. The FIRE is sublime and the image of laying under animal skin, ordinarily would be disagreeable, but in this light, I sense it hungrily and picture myself snug and bare under bear with the tip of my wand slowing nudging entry. Glorious idea and new trance awaits my days end.

Thanks for the Video,
?ic

Somewhat related to the campfire suggestion, I found this:

Llewellyn & Leora Lightwoman * Tantric Sexuality with candle light ( extra long )

Bonus, the music nicely complements the hypnotic quality of the visuals.
