Hi guys,
I have been using the Aneros Maximus since early August. It took me several weeks to get used to it. One difficulty I had with this model was that it kept slipping out through peristalsis. Some experienced users on this forum told me that there is imbalance in the design of this model which may cause it slip out. In early August I also found a very helpful document entitled, Directions for Prostate Massage for the Pro-state Massager. This document recommended performing the Kegel Exercises after the insertion of the Aneros up the anal canal. When I began doing that along with rhythmic breathing and relaxation, the Maximus became more securely positioned against my prostate so that the massaging action could begin without the Maximus slipping out through peristalsis.
The Maximus delivers a more aggressive and robust massage to both the prostate and prostate canal. Because of this, the Maximus has become a mainstay in my Aneros sessions and has introduced me well to both the Progasm Classic and Progasm Ice. The Maximus in large part has also awakened my prostate. I heartily recommend the Maximus to more experienced Aneros users.

the maximus doesn't get the press all the other models seem to, but I would agree with you that it's the best.
Early on in my journey, the mgx was my favorite and then for a couple years it was the progasm. Now I find the maximus to be a good balance between the two. Large enough to give you a feeling that it's there but small enough to provide just enough movement.

I'm honestly glad to see some Maximus love! I went for the Eupho straight away as my first model. Then I went for the Progasm. I've been wanting a Maximus though, but had the feeling that it would a little pointless since I had the Porgasm. I agree that the Progasm could be a tad more mobile. The Eupho is also a delicate flower working its seductive magic, but sometimes I need a more firm and direct approach. I will probably get the Syn as my next model, but I'm definitely keep Maximus on my radar. I'm sure it too will join the collection at some point.

I though the same thing until I got one, but the Maximus is absolutely nothing like the Progasm.
It's intuitive to think since they're both on the larger side, that you've got your bases covered, but I'd consider the Maximus more like a Helix but with the extra length of the Eupho.

Well, I began my Aneros sessions on June 3 this past summer with the Helix Syn. The Syn began kicking in with lots of P-waves on June 24. So I say with a great deal of gratitude that the Helix Syn was an excellent introduction with Anerosing. Currently I use the Maximus with both the Progasm Classic and Progasm Ice in my sessions. I just love these big guys comment each other. But some day very soon I hope to start using the Eupho as well!

I have always thought that the Maximus has been seriously underrated.
It has all the advantages of the Eupho, (long since been my favourite), but none of the disadvantages of the Progasm!

Eupho and Maximus are pretty much the same basic shape, with the Eupho being slimmed down with the newer p-tab design and the Helix-type neck.

Everyone has sold me. I'm going to get a Maximus and a Syn. I think Evi is first though since I have two models already. 🙂

I know what you mean. I haven't gotten anything in quite a while now, and the Maximus is looking awful tempting.

I was decided on a progasm ice but now I am torn..... Maximus or pro. Thanks a lot you guys! [-( I have a eupho and helix.
I need convincing from those that have both a maximus and progasm on which one o get 🙂

I own both, but I couldn't say one is definitely better than the other. I prefer the Maximus and use it more, but it's such an individual thing. Some people would say they have better results with the Progasm. If you're an aneros user for long enough, you'll probably end up with both anyway.
If this is a deal breaker for you, I'll say the Progasm is actually way bigger than the Maximus. They get lumped in together because the maximus used to be the biggest aneros before the progasm came along, but the progasm is lot more thick and bulky.
