Probably depends on how comfortable you are anally. I started with the Helix 5 years ago and just ordered the Progasm and Peridise last week. If you are inexperienced maybe start with one of the smaller models. I think the Helix is a good blend. Big enough so you get that fullness feeling and not so big that its uncomfortable for a first time user.

In regards to choosing a first Aneros model, I recommend that you first read the following : The Best Aneros model is...

Hi all. First timer here. The Peridise is in me now. the smaller one. Feels no better than the suggested larger one. Lacking a prostate after surgery 11 yrs ago. Kind of uncomfortable. I t may just be a matter of time . like to hear from other users. here or [email protected]

If you're lacking a prostate, doesn't that make the aneros prostate massager useless? There's really nothing to massage.

@Haas

The Peridise is no prostate massager. Its a unisex anal toy which stimulates the nerves of the anus.

which in a twist of irony for most of us stimulates the prostate even better than some or all of the other models out there. Wether its intended or not, seems to be the case!

@jordon2005, it might be good if you could start a thread regarding Aneros without a Prostate. There have been other posters with the same challenge. If there are any nerves left I believe those can trigger a response. I would think one of the classic shapes may be good 'to test the waters' so as to speak.
I find the peridise models uncomfortable.
