I checked 1-2 hours, but if I am having O's I will stay forever!

By the same token, if I feel the session is not going well for me, I sometimes end it at 30-45 minutes.

Also, I feel it is sometimes beneficial to skip a day or so between sessions, unless I am particularly horny!

I've polled the 3-all night, not because the Aneros is active for all that time (I wish!) but, like you, I invariably fall asleep with it in. Sadly I'm never able to take advantage of it in the a.m., that part of my body dictates something more insistent when I wake up!

Re swollen anus, yes for me at least, normal. I think it's to do with the outer sphincter relaxing and letting the engorged inner mucoid tissue protrude slightly. I discovered this phenomenon during/after (solo) anal play long before getting an Aneros. Me being me I just had to get a mirror for a closer look. I found it distinctly arousing the sight of that pink moist turgid orifice, even if it was my own! (That reminds me, I haven't checked it out for a while...)

Make the most of it, the anus is very sensitive in this condition, but also very vulnerable so go gently.

I checked 30-60 minutes, but that's mostly due to time constraints. On the weekends I use it longer or until I feel that it's time to stop, which is generally in the 90 minute range.

If I ever started feeling a super-o though, I'm sure I'd extend that until I was exhausted and I'm sure I'm not alone.

No question, that sustained anal play can result in the tissues becoming swollen and engorged. This is fairly normal. Of course there is "good swollen" from stimulation and then there's "traumatic swollen", from stretching and tearing.

A diffiiicult question; there are so many things to try.

I clicked 3+ hours although it has never been all night, my sessions are often 3 to 4 hours, 5 to 6 hours sleep and then another 3-4 hour session in the morning that is on weekends

With many folk the Aneros is being pulsated with the anal sphincter muscles and massaging the Prostate. I guess the prostate can only take so much of this.
