Has anyone found a sharp edge they had to file off?

Has anyone found a sharp edge they had to file off? I know one person who says he feels a slight sharp edge where 2 halves of a mold formed his MGX. Would some sort of very fine sand paper (like the automotive kind for smoothing paint) be okay to file that off?

You should not have received any model with distinctly sharp edges, if you did, this is a manufacturing defect and should be returned. If you purchased your MGX from the Aneros website you can probably return it under their guarantee plan. If you purchased this elsewhere it is possible you received a poorly made 'knock off' imitation and may have little recourse other than to refinish it yourself.

Yes, very fine grain sandpaper will work on the Aneros acetyl plastic. If you have access to a buffer and are careful, you can even bring the surface texture to a very smooth gloss finish similar to the Progasm 'ICE' series models.

Good Vibes to You!

When I received my Progasm, there was a tiny bit of mold line sticking up from the two external tabs. I used a bit of 300- and then 600-grit sandpaper to smooth it out.
