Hi everyone,

I have just one Aneros toy, which is the PSY model, and I would like to learn about the purpose of the arms. As I know, the arms of the PSY olny toy that  adjustable. My question is: what are the benefits of wider or narrower arms? I’m asking about both arms. How should we adjust and aim them? When we make the arms wider, what should we expect, and what about the opposite?

Could you please describe the shape of your arms and the reasons for your adjustments? This would help me understand better.

Thank you!

I have just one Aneros toy, which is the PSY model, and I would like to learn about the purpose of the arms.

The purpose of the tab arms is to provide added stimulation contributing to orgasmic arousal. The original Aneros models only had one arm/tab (the P-tab arm) whose purpose was to apply pressure to an acupressure point on the perineum. For most men this was effectively close enough to this "sweet spot" (see @B_Mayfield's post regarding this spot also known as the Million Dollar Spot") to accomplish the added stimulation. However, for a few men this tab still missed the mark which led to a desire to have a model with an adjustable arm to more accurately hit this spot. The benefit of wider or or narrower arms is simply about comfort and appropriate targeting of fit to enhance your Aneros use. Since each man is uniquely different you will need to experiment with tab placement to find the optimal positions for you.

Likewise the K-tab arm which was introduced on the Progasm model and led to the evolution of the Trident series is meant to stimulate the Kundalini acupressure point on the posterior side of the anus.

@Val73 any lubrication other than one containing silicone may be used with your PSY model.

@rumel what would be a reasonable protocol to adjust the arms?  I have a PSY myself and I stubbornly have been trying different settings without a method.  After some adjustments I consider myself completely lost in the process, not taking into consideration that each session is different from the other by its own merit.  After a lot of fumbling around I had to reset the arms position to factory default and begin again.  I understand there is a limited number of adjustments before the arms break because of fatigue.  Thanks for any light on the subject!

I don't really have any protocol I can recommend other than you will need to experiment with your placements. BUT, before starting these adjustments you need to Find your "sweet spot". If you don't know where that is you could keep modifying your PSY to no end and be endlessly frustrated. Once you have located your own "sweet spot" you will have a much better chance of modifying your P-tab arm to hit that spot. I think you will find the optimal positioning fairly quickly after you've identified your "sweet spot".

Good Vibes to You!
