The general advice is to keep your hands off your penis when first using an aneros. Doing so is supposed to help the rewiring process to progress.

Everyone's mileage is different. For me, I like to have several minutes of super O's (which generally start about 5 minutes after insertion), and then I flip on my back and JO myself with my tool still inserted. I get the most amazing ejac's, and I don't feel that the practice has taken away from my overall "journey".
