A 5ml lubricant applicator syringe for inserting lubricant internally. Although not strictly necessary, most Aneros users agree that this is the best way to insure proper internal lubrication. However, this syringe should be used with WATER-BASED lubricant ONLY. Silicone or oil-based lubricant will drastically reduce the effectiveness of the applicator.

Hm I recently purchased an applicator but was actually planning to use it with Olive Oil, which is my favorite lubricant of late. Will it destroy the applicator?

the o-ring is made of latex. oil dissolves latex, so, yes, the applicator will be ruined.

my favorite applicator is an oral syringe sold with baby ibuprofen. it is narrow and is latex free.

Wow... they give ibuprofen to babies? That sounds crazy...

I don't know if it also contains latex, but I like the lube shooters. They are efficient (nothing remains in the tip) and easy to clean. I use them with K-Y all the time.

i`m in Canada by the way.

I was going to use it for both douching and lube application. i wanted something with a tip similar to the one found on the bulb enema, just seems easier to insert and safer . i`m guessing your inserting the body of the infant syringe aswell ? or is the tip that comes with it long enough.

i insert the whole thing. it is 100% safe. the syringe is designed to go into baby's mouth.

a lube applicator and a douche are very different: a lube applicator only needs 3 or at most 5 cc. a douche is much bigger.

you can find this product at any drugstore. this is a very simple and cheap solution. don't make it so hard.

lol, thx.

thought i could give it a dual purpose. Wont work well for douching then?

was hoping to get a syringe that was big enough to give a small douche, even if i had to refill it once.

Try a standard 3 ml syringe. It's small enough to insert for me (lube your anus first). I cut off the tip first of course.
I buy them online in 100 pcs boxes.
