Regardless of technique or lack there of.....I just cant feel my prostate regardless of what I do. No sensations at all. I've tried manually searching for it, I've tried a small toy, and obviously the Aneros. Many models. I do have what I would consider "good sessions" with precum and all. So I know its making contact. But if I could concentrate on the actual prostate and knew where to focus......I think I could progress. I usually use the do nothing and relax method. I just don't know where to focus my attention.
Anyone?
Have you tried looking at anatomical images/diagrams online? That might help provide a visualization.
You might not want to hear this, but the best idea might be to stop worrying about where the prostate is and just focus on how good your sessions are. Let the feelings envelop you. Trying to pinpoint the prostate is useless, because the final arrival is a full-body orgasm anyways. Just my thoughts on the matter.
i agree w/ mindtravels. the temptation is there to try to use "technique" or "intellect" but just relaxing and being open to sensations will work better
Best thing to do is not to do anything!!! Lay back and let it happen.
And remember, craig, contrary to what you may think, there is no such thing as a bad session. Each session brings its own reward EVEN IF YOU DON'T KNOW IT!
I'm sorry to say, some guys just take longer to "awaken" and you may be one. So, part of your problem is your attitude, if I may be so bold. Frankly, I cannot tell you how many times I and others here on the forum, have answered this same question from guys who feel that "it doesn't work" or "can't feel anything".
Patience is part of the game, I fear. Personally it took me quite a few months of rigorous attempts before my prostate began to respond. Believe us when we say, Stick with it...you'll get there. Almost without exception, men who have had similar experiences to yours eventually succeed with Aneros.
You do not have to "focus" as the Aneros is doing that for you. What you have to do is BELIEVE that you're body is resetting and developing a new paradigm that will alter your way of thinking about orgasm. But you have to be patient. Every session, EVERY SESSION, brings you closer. Simply put it in, relax, watch TV, read a book, hell, have sex with a partner, but quit focusing, for gawd's sake. Put it in for an hour or two, relax, enjoy, don't think about it, and let your body respond. If it's not a "great" session don't worry about it, man, just take it out and go again the next time.
Patience and practice. That's all there is to it. Be patient, relax, be at peace with yourself. Time will out.

PS...read my post from a couple years ago and it will help you understand where I'm trying to "focus" YOU!
Craig--You mentioned wanting to be able to concentrate on the actual prostate. From the testimonials section, this user's plum analogy really helped me put a finger on what the prostate meant to me, as well as some distinct regions to pay attention to: I love this thing.............
A healthy small prostate is nearly impossible for an untrained individual to feel, especially on themselves as it is difficult to position your finger in such a way that it can sweep over the surface of the gland and give you a perspective of the gland's shape and feel. I've examined hundreds of men's prostates and, thankfully blessed with a healthy small gland, it is quite hard for me to get a good feel of my own. Don't worry about what you can feel and for that matter even what the anatomical illustrations suggest. Just learn over time to sense that neat, "Wow that feels nice inside!" feeling when your massager slides in and contacts the spot.
I think I can feel it. I know it's hitting my prostate when each contraction produces a strange desensitizing feeling in my balls as the p-tab hits me. And I get a pleasant feeling in the head of my penis.
Airbag, I'd go more with the pleasant feelings you're experiencing as a guide than trying to anatomically determine where the tip of the massager is in relation to your rectal wall and prostate anatomy. That pleasant warm feeling that spreads from deep in your pelvis out onto the head of your penis is exactly what you're looking for. It will eventually become intense and orgasmic feeling.

Sign me in ! And thanks for confirmation I'm on the right track.

Anyone?
Have you been able to get P-wave? If not, you may want to try "butt frenzy" method a few times.
