Yes, I have wondered about this. Here's some pure speculation. There are currently 56,172 registered members on the Forum. If we assume each member is representative of approximately 50 other non-member users worldwide then there are about 2,808,600 Aneros users worldwide, this may seem like a lot but that only represents about 0.00073 of the male population (3.8+ billion), a pretty small percentage, about 1 man in 1500 worldwide.

I live in Montana, with a male population of approximately 531,000, scattered over an area 147,040 sq. miles (3.61 sq.mi. per man) so doing the math, there is likely only one Aneros user per 415 sq. miles or 1 man within a radius 11.5 miles. In the state there may only be about 354 users. I realize my stats are skewed due to the low population density.
@UKguy , using the same rational, the City of London has a male population of 3,905,280 in 607 sq. miles (4.289 users per sq.mi.) thus there may be another user within a radius 1.168 miles of them.

Of course this is all pure speculation without actual verifiable statistical evidence, change any of the assumptions and the figures change significantly as well.

1/5 of the store is glass ware for drug use.
1/5 of the store is like knives and flags (yeah, I don’t get it either)
1/5 of the store is fetish / BDSM wear with some “shades of gray” reference
1/5 is vitamin supplements, rolling papers lighters, condoms, lubes, fake urine, e-stim
1/5 of the store is vibrators, prostate massagers, cockbrings, DVDs, masturbators, dongs... with prostate massagers making up only 1/6th of this section. of those 30ish items to choose from, there are barely 3 versions of Aneros products.

If everybody shopped there (they don’t) AND the store represents the interests of my region (it doesn’t), THEN roughly 3% know about prostate massage in general - and that’s being very generous I think.

@HereByAccident that is an incredibly strange "adult toy store". In one of the main Parisian sex toy stores, the "Sexodrome", which has multiple floors of sex-related (and only sex-related) paraphernalia, there is a surprising dearth of aneros products. They seem to have other prostate toys, but none of the aneros models or other highly mentioned models on this forum (HIH, etc).

I live in Washington, DC, USA and have been using the Aneros since early June 2012. It is very strange that I have not met any Aneros users who live here through this forum.

I live in central Pennsylvania and have yet to personally meet another Aneros user. Where I’m at is a conservative rural area. However, the shop I usually buy my devices from is in Harrisburg, and on one visit the employee told me that the Aneros brand sold well for them.

I live in Cincinnati Ohio. So far, I've only met one other person who has heard of Aneros and he wasn't a fan. He says they require too much work and time, but I disagree.
