Hey guys I have a confession to make: I hate exercise.  I don't work out, hate the very idea of going to a public gym, sometimes go hiking but that's about it.  And I'm sure my muscle tone could be better; the self-discipline just isn't there for that.  And I wonder how much that has affected my Aneros journey so far because no matter how much I try to keep with the kegels, I usually forget after a week or two and go back to old routines.  I just can't find the motivation within myself to stay the course here.  But I might have found an easy way out:

It's called the Kegel8 Pelvic Toner.

Honestly I don't know much about it and am just doing research but it's something that so far hasn't been much mentioned on this forum, to my knowledge.  And of course it's sold in the UK, there seems to be a US variant called the K-Fit, not nearly as many accessories but would seem to be basically the same at a cursory glance (dunno if they're actually related though).  I don't know anything about different models but if anyone out there has experience with either I'd certainly be happy to listen to your experiences/perspective here.

It just seems like a perfect solution to my lazy tendencies, and might help my Super-O journey.  What are you guys' thoughts?

I've come across devices like this (branded as pelvic floor devices) on Amazon... pretty interesting if it works. I had a bad experience with an e-stim box I bought years ago, and lost a lot of faith in the whole idea. I wouldn't mind, but I paid like ~$150 for it... I expected something more fine-tuned, and feel utterly ripped-off by what I bought.
At this point I consider e-stim an expertise, and a rabbit-hole, that you can make work if you invest in high-end equipment and lots of exactness in your positioning. A low-cost, fool-proof out-of-the box experience would be nice, but I don't hold much hope considering the likely R&D costs.
Maybe you can be the ginue-pig and tell the rest of us whether it works well or not. 😛

Not sure if youv'e read Crimson Wolf, he is of a mind that we have been using these muscles our entire life, so there is little need to do kegels, for the benefit of the rpostate play. I agree with him to an extent. As you get older though strengthening these muscles do help with incontinence. I find the easiest way is mindgasm 1,2 or3, which is free fast and easy to do. I am however like a Wolf a do nothinger. Though it may not work for some, I like the naturalness of it. As the body knows what it wants. I do also employ contractions, but I find it feels manufactured, and I feel I'm fighting my body. Another easy way to get your kegels in, is to do them when you pee and when you poop. Just add some extra flexs in. Not to hard to remember or do.

Oh yeah I was going to mention that too. The Mindgasm lessons make it less boring to work the pelvic floor. It's also nice to have a regimented beginning and end, so you can block out 30 minutes or whatever and call it done.

Just do them when you’re driving,or watching tv or something lol You still need to lie up,hook up to the machine and wait for it to finish.

OK guys, I guess I WON'T just go spend a bunch of money just yet.  But I'm telling you, just remembering to keep up with the kegels is hard for me.  I see that Mindgasm still has their 30-day challenge up...maybe I'll start that with Lent.  Thanks for the suggestions, guys!

@faith-manages

If you saw the nipple massager threads back a few months ago, those things are under $50 and while your mileage may vary, it gets my pelvic floor working every time and feels great in the mean time.

Other than that, I have recently found the Peridise devices light me up quickly also and go set to work those muscle groups and that feels great also.

Could just be where I'm at in the journey, but it's the practice that is my exercise now.

These massagers are also fantastic for use on the frenulum ! So even for someone who does not have great nipple sensitivity/focus (yet), they're a worthwhile investment for all masturbatory activities. I use mine very often now.

Thanks guys, I hear you.  Dunno what's up with my nipples recently, but 1-1.5 years ago I was getting pretty responsive there, I could go from cold to having an erection and good feeling in my prostate, merely by playing with my nipples.  Not so in the last year...

I haven't found the thread you mentioned yet but I will keep looking.
