What would be wildly accepted as the 'best real-skin dildo in town.'

I know there are so many varieties out there and general chat about realistic dildos has hit this site and I'm after recommendations. I'm not seeking Hercules and will happily settle for Adonis, so if anyone could please drop a line or two I'd sure appreciate it. I've found, that since being completely rewired my relationship with dildos has grown and I've developed new found pleasure that should work nicely in unison with my Aneros collection.

Thanks!

vixskin is pretty good. But they also seem kinda floppy if you get my drift.

I kinda get your drift ???

But, not really.

Are you implying that they're a little on the too soft a side as opposed to a full-on hard-on? Ideally, what I would like is something that I could perform fellatio on and then prepare myself to be mounted and pleasured in oh so many ways, but has the most realistic texture known to mankind as we know it. I am well adept at receiving objects anally and my kegles have kept me well toned and responsive to foreign objects, but I just don't want to fall into buying a generic middle of the road man-look-alike. My imagination is mighty demanding.

I own a John Holmes UR3 and the material seems very realistic (especially when it is warm). I can't comment on any other materials. I also don't know if it feels realistic during use since I'm a straight male but reviewers of the dildo seem to think that it closely approximates the real thing.

EDIT: UR3 is not made from silicone.

Thanks Aaron. I've not seen or felt UR 3 material and I'm cautiously inclined to seek-out silicone products mainly due to what I've read in terms of maintaining body heat and being porous free (hygiene). You have raised my curiosity with regards to you stating that you're a straight male and therefore would not know how it feels when put to use. I'm curious as to why a "straight male" would buy such a product if they had no use for it. Thanks again, I'll check it out, might be too big especially if it has John Holmes signature attached to it.

@VicThe John Holmes is huge (10" insertable and 8" around) but they have other sizes in UR3 material. Not a bad idea to stick to silicone, though. When I stated I was a straight male, I just meant that I've never had sex with a man so I wouldn't know how UR3 compares to the real thing when inserted. I can only compare it to my own and listen to what other reviewers say about it. I didn't mean to imply I don't use it.

Sorry, I misinterpreted your post and thanks for clearing that up. I should probably take myself into one of "those stores" and grab a feel of what's behind the counter. One of the best stores for allowing access to feeling and holding while imagining, is Good Vibrations, but I don't live close enough to one. Man, I can't believe the size of the JH you mentioned. Have you seriously been able to manipulate such gargantuan measures inside of you?

@VicYa, I can take the whole thing and I'm only 5'7" and 153 lb. I just go slow (at first) and use a lot of lube. It's probably easier than you might expect as long as you can train yourself to relax and accept it. Nevertheless, you should work your way up to it. As a side note, I find the size of it incredibly arousing even though, as I mentioned, I'm straight. I generally prefer the Aneros but the JH fulfills a psychological need (and gives great after effects).

floppy in the sense that its not very rigid. I think its a trade off, soft flesh like feeling vs hard rubber or something much stiffer.

I'm not an expert on this subject but I remember someone saying one of the better models had a hard or firm "core" and a softer layer on the outside making for a very realistic feel.

Someone here mentioned Vixskin, that could have been it but I'm not sure.

I'm also straight but have been curious about trying this type of play. In my mind the hard inside/soft outside sounds like an ideal combination for stimulation. Not because I want it to be like a real cock, although it would be, but rather that combination seems most appealing in a practical way.

Different penises feel different inside me. Some are softer and become harder before ejaculation. Others are more flexible throughout. Of course size is a different issue. I use the vixskin maverick which I find is a good compromise sensation ( http://vixencreations.com/collections/vixskin/products/maverick?variant=1662172804). It is platinum silicone with a more rigid inner core. I had a cheap dildo before and was not happy with it. Of course no dildo will replicate the sensation of a real penis, especially with intact foreskin sliding back and forth, the growth in length and girth, etc. But for me the vixskin is the next best thing. It's 8 inches long and 4 inches wide I think. So I can control how deep and how slowly it penetrates, whether I just leave it in place and enjoy the "just right" sensation, or move it faster or slower. That's the advantage of a dildo over a penis. My boyfriend has a longer and wider penis than my dildo so there's no comparison.

Vic I think you will be pleased with a vixskin. It's relatively expensive but worth it. I cover mine with a condom to keep it clean and preserve it. I'm surprised there isn't more comments and suggestions in your topic. I hope you find your dream dildo!

A rigid core with a soft exterior is also my preferred choice. My 8" dildo is very uncompromising and I find my much larger John Holmes dildo to be more comfortable on account of its softness (once I adjust to the size). Man, that thing is awesome. A soft exterior also tends to fill every contour in a way that feels fantastic, assuming the dildo is large enough. There are some who prefer a harder dildo because you can feel more, especially if there are textures like veins on the dildo, but I think a firm but soft dildo to allow for easy entry and trusting as well as comfort and fullness would be my recommendation. Softer is definitely better if you like depth.

I should add that although UR3 is great, it requires a bit more cleanup because you need to coat it with cornstarch after each use. It can be kind of a pain, especially when the dildo is large.

By the way @euphemistic, I think you mean 4" circumference, not width. The crazy thing is some people really can take 4" width.

Eupho! Thank you, and let me say, I'm happy to hear you're back on track. I've missed you and your input, and of course, you have now fully answered my question with fine detail. When you say: 'just right' sensation, I immediately relate and have come close to feeling that blissfully with other, low grade look-a-likes, so I can well imagine upping the ante with the Maverick. I too am surprised at the lack of commentary. Even thou the comments are scant on the page, I hear them screaming loudly, silently purring in moments of private admission. Great to see you Eupho!

I just checked out some vixskin dildos and they really are expensive, around $100+. Nevertheless, I may need to try one out if they really are as good as people say. I'm looking to add an "everyday" dildo to my collection that doesn't require as much prep work or cleanup. Thanks for the advice, everyone.

you can sometimes get good deals on amazon. I would check there before spending $100 or more. I just did a quick search for vixskin maverick and found a few around $75-$88. So a little cheaper and some had free shipping.

Thanks for that info 'I never Knew' sorry, I had to break your user name down because it's pretty cool. I never knew either! Lately, I've been a tad wary about Amazon, there have been too many reports about bogus products slipping through the Titian at super low prices, but the cost to the consumer, is that there are a lot of FAKE PRODUCTS that are attractive, but when you get them home they fall short on quality. Personally, I've bought quite a few products through Amazon and to date have not had a problem, but the more I research about dildos etc, I'm faced with negative walls. So, what do I do? I'm beginning to suss out other firms, hopefully the original producers and will gauge my hopes on taking a chance. Who knows, maybe I could eventually end up buying from an old Ma and Pa Store. Wow, can you imagine.

Gawd, I can't wait for (it) to arrive, all this messing about is making me hungry for a jolly good rodgering!

@ineverknewThanks for looking into it. I actually did look on Amazon but I'm Canadian. Sadly, everything's a little more expensive here (ex. vixskin maverick is $142 CAD + shipping) and some things are harder to find. I often end up buying off of the American Amazon site to get what I really want but that means no free shipping. I'll keep looking, though. The vixskin dildos are smaller than I'm used to but I would like to have a variety of dildos to suit my mood and the reviews for the vixskin toys are very good.

@Vic, we buy tons of stuff on Amazon! I cant really ever remember having something be wrong. I think once I ordered some filters for a spray gun and they said they were no longer available, thats about it. Maybe I'm lucky cause I know what your saying about wrong items, especially in the reviews.

@JudgeAaronSatie, Cool, eh. 😛 Which province? I think I've been to 5 of them. I'm a michigander so we might be neighbors lol.

@ineverknewOntario, closer to New York State than Michigan. Still, we're neighbours :)>-. I used to travel to Michigan a bit back when I was still playing hockey.

@JudgeAaronSatie, cool. Yeah I've been all through ontario except the northern parts. Been to niagara falls and toronto a few times. Fun places to visit. I live in the Saginaw area. Wonder if you ever traveled there for hockey, we have alot of hockey fans in this area since we have an OHL hockey team. Are you really a judge of some type?

@ineverknewhahaha no, I'm not a judge. When I made my profile, I wasn't planning on participating as much as I have so I just picked something off the top of my head. It's actually a reference to Star Trek: The Next Generation (because I'm a nerd). If I could change it I probably would. As for hockey, I only ever went to Detroit. That was about 10 years ago when I was in my mid-teens. Funny that you mention the Falls and Toronto since I was born just outside Toronto and I live near the Falls now.

@JudgeAaronSatie, well im old enough to have watched both the original star trek and the next generation ha ha. I dont recall that character though. Hmmm....which do you prefer, the city of toronto or the falls? Seems all the tourists would drive you mad? lol

@ineverknewIt's kind of an obscure reference from the episode "The Drumhead." Anyway, I like both places but Toronto was an awesome place to live. The only real problem was the traffic. The 401 through Toronto is literally the busiest highway in the world and the Gardiner Expressway is a parking lot lol.

Hey @Vic, I'm sorry to revive an old discussion but I was wondering what dildo (if any) you ended up purchasing?

@JudgeAaronSatie, yeah i get that. I have been working just outside of Detroit a few days a week. The expressway turns into a parking lot @ 5pm. I dont get how people deal with that on a daily basis. I would go mad ha ha.

I got to ask though, and this is to everyone on this thread, do you really get any prostate orgasms from dildo use? I've tried them and nothing compares to how good the aneros feels. Maybe its just me?

@ineverknewI actually thought about posting a discussion on the differences between a dildo and an Aneros but haven't gotten around to it. My main attraction to a dildo is psychological. It feels really good and can create pleasure waves and mini-o's but it doesn't produce the high intensity orgasms I get from the Aneros. It's just that something about using a dildo, especially large ones, makes me extremely aroused (I also have an interest in pegging although I've never done it). Like the Aneros, every session is different. Sometimes I get a "chill down the spine" sensation with every thrust (which feels really good), other times I get a chain of mini-o's, and other times I get basically nothing from it. It all depends on my mood, arousal, etc. I also like the active rather than passive action of using a dildo since it can be fun to be more in control of the situation (and get a workout at the same time). That being said, I also really like the passive action of the Aneros. Again, it's all about my mood. I like owning a variety of toys because I know when I feel like using the Aneros and when I'm really craving a pounding from a dildo.

I always feel like I'm on the verge of achieving even better sensations with the dildo (I know it's possible from reading pegging forums) but it definitely has a learning curve, just like the Aneros. With regard to the pleasure I get from the Aneros, I have to say that NOTHING compares to it. I even prefer it over a traditional orgasm because it lasts for so long and can be incredibly intense. It's also really convenient because it requires virtually (or even literally) no prep work compared to a dildo which requires enough to make me, on occasion, not want to use it when I'm probably more in the mood for it.

By the way, I ended up buying the Jeff Stryker vac-u-lock but I'm keeping the vixskin maverick in mind for my next purchase.

well i've tried alot of different anal toys over the years. I even paid some good money for the njoy purewand. None of them give me any kind of pleasureable feelings, nothing. Seems my prostate only responds well to very light massaging. Anything with more pressure even if I'm trying not to ends in feeling nothing.

I can certainly understand that. The Aneros collection really does have a lot going for it. Even little things, like the packaging and the fact that it doesn't smell (which maybe isn't such a little thing), all make them my favourite anal toys.
