i'm just worried i can't get them clean afterwards, or that anything i use might break down the silicone.

is dr bonner's safe and mild enough to use on any of the syn models?

(i think i may have destroyed my original helix syn with something else (not sure what) that i used to clean it. it never looks like new.)

suggestions?

Dr. Bronner's is some pretty intense stuff, I remember reading what you were supposed to do if you got it in your eyes.  I would suggest some antibacterial hand soap, or toy cleaner.

I use ordinary hand soap and hand sanitizer spray afterwards - works like a charm. Toy cleaner is basically the same I guess (70% alcohol & 30% water), just with a higher price-tag. It's silicone safe and I had no problems so far.

Silicone toys are rather sturdy and can be boiled (also known as Dildo-Soup 🙂 ) or put in the dishwasher. I'm not sure about the plastic of the Aneros toys though, so I wouldn't recommend to boil them.

I use dawn anti-bacterial soap and a old toothbrush.  Scrub with hot water and soap lather using the toothbrush. Then let them sit in the soapy water for about 10 mins.  Rinse them off & dry. All done and ready for the next session.

I use Aneros Wipes right after a session. It’s anti-bacterial wipes. I also put my Aneros in UV light afterwards to get rid of all germs.

I use dish soap or anti-bacterial hand soap on all my silicon toys, never had a problem or seen any deterioration.

ok, thank you all for chiming in.

your suggestions helped BIG TIME.  the toothbrush did amazing things: i didn't mess up my helix syn at all.  i did, however, learn some very upsetting truths about where i live (like, i can't even spell this, but here goes: euw-uh-uh-uh-ugh.  twitch twitch)

again, thank you.
