What kind of lube are you using? Check to see if it has glycerin. If it does then that may be your problem. Try switching to a water based lube or try one of the homemade lubes on this forum. Just type in lube into the search box and I'm sure you'll find plenty of resources.
If it's not the lube then it could be what you've eaten previously. I know I'm sensitive to that. I have to time my sessions accordingly.

Helixing,

Welcome to the Forum,

First there is no reason to be embarrassed amongst the members of this community. We are all aware of the intimate nature of the Aneros practices and its variance with typical western socially accepted behaviors. The most effective prostate massage techniques involve penetration of the male anus into the rectum.

There immediately come to mind three likely causes for the “urge to purge”. First, as 'Billy11' mentioned, the type of lubrication you are using may have ingredients which are triggering a laxative like response. An often cited culprit here are lubes containing glycerine, I suggest you read the ingredient label of your present lube to check for this chemical. If your lube has it (or even if it doesn't) perhaps you should try switching to an alternative product. I suggest you read the Lubrication section in the Aneros WIKI and then read through the “Bestlube..." thread for additional information and insight into this topic.

The second possible cause is simply habit. By that I mean, the rectum is normally devoid of material, but when the colon, through peristaltic action, pushes feces into the rectum, your rectum will send a strong signal to your brain that it is time for a bowel movement to excrete the waste. Thus through years of listening to your body in this manner you habitually respond to the presence of material in your rectum as the signal to have a bowel movement. Fortunately, you can learn to interpret that signal differently, even as pleasurable, when you know you don't actually need to have a bowel movement. Taking care to assure you have voided yourself a couple of hours prior to your session should remedy this problem and ease your mind. Also watching your diet and including ample ruffage/fiber in your diet will help make you regular and allow some predictability for the occurrence of bowel movements.

The third possible cause is the manner in which you “...clean myself...”, it is possible your cleaning regime it triggering peristalsis in the colon to move material toward the rectum and the inevitable “urge to purge”.

Hey Guys Thanks for your fast reply, You both are right about the lub I'm using.. it does have glycerin in it I was using a Wal-Mart brand (Equate Personal Lub) Well I'll just use in to jelq or masturbate from now on.

With my first session I did not use any lub just water from the bath tub Then on the second and third I went out and bought some lube.
I am thinking about using either fish oil or vitamin E oil for lub, what do you guys think?????

I really enjoy the Helix it's like the product was made just for me it fits like a glove once it's in place it has a mind of it's own LOL....

Thanks again guys..

Regularly applying vitamin E oil greatly helps my anal tissues as I have a tendency toward hemorrhoids but it's too thick to serve as a lubricant on its own. The senior guys on this forum can give you great suggestions for lubes. In my case I can use no water soluble lube whether with or without glycerin and I do not inject lube, rather I only apply it to the anus and the Aneros.

Try either Slippery Stuff Gel or Probe Thick Rich, they both are lacking glycerin; Slippery Stuff is the only lube tested to be safe for extended anal use. There's a Thread here somewhere on the dangers of lube in anus, I think it was Lube Danger, but I can't find it with the new search engine. Does anyone else know how to find it?

try Astrolube.

First time I've heard of Astrolube. I went to the website and I see that it's designed for wrestling. I couldn't find anywhere saying that you can use it internally but it does state "ASTROLUBE® is a completely biodegradable, non-toxic, non-irritating, water-soluble, pharmaceutical-grade product. Be sensible and have fun with it!"
So seems like it would be fine internally.
I did a search on this forum for Astrolube and found one thread where someone mentions getting some but haven't tried it yet but that's it.
Does anybody no more about this product?
How bout you boldlover333. How long you've been using it. Hows it compare to other lubes you've tried?

Thanks for the link Badger much appreciated and also for the lube guys I have ordered for all three luds to try out.

Well I had my 4th session this morning with out using the original lud I first used in the past the feel of needing to BM was reduce dramatically but the difference this time around was I did not produce any pre-cum but a drop of prostate fluids but never the less it was a great session..

I am now deciding whether or not go with another aneros to see if there are any differences to the pleasure I feel. If I may get your advice on the next device what would you recommend?????

These are the three that are on my mind, MGX, Progasm, Eupho...

I'm 5.4 in HT 170 LB 40 yrs old and the first time ever experiencing the aneros for the first time in my life.
I have read in the forum that it's best to have a flaccid penis at the start of the session but the problem I'm having is as soon as I insert the Aneros I'm rock hard and stay that way through out the session I've tried everything to get it to go limp but nothing works I also notice my body temperature increase a few degrees in this the norm????

helixing,

You may be misinformed about one's erectile state upon entering an Anerosession. IMHO, whether you are flaccid or erect makes no difference to the level of pleasure you may experience. Pleases do not worry about it or take measures to deflate this aroused state. A high state of physical and mental arousal is necessary to get into the Super-O Zone.

Feelings of warmth or feverish flushing as well as increased blood pressure, heart rate and accelerated breathing are all normal reactions as we become increasingly aroused from using these massagers, enjoy.
