This is probably hard to answer, but is there anything different you notice about models that have a k-tab versus ones that don't?
I cut the tails off most of my aneros, because one of my favorite positions is on my back with my legs flat, and it feels like they can move more freely without that rear arm. But I'm thinking I might check out some of the trident models (and not mangle them with modifications this time).
I already have a Progasm Jr, with an intact k-tab, but it's hard to separate that part of the experience from the Progasm Jr experience overall. Does anyone have, say, the Eupho Classic and the Eupho Trident, where you'd notice the difference in how they ride?
I have an original helix and original MGX, both with bobbed tails, and for exactly the same reason as you. I want both models in trident form because...there is a reason Aneros went to that design. My experience with the EST and ET, maximus T, and progasm have lead me to believe the k-tab is more about added movement. I don't know that it sends chills up my spine or anything, but what I feel is more like a gallop effect that takes me to exotic places in the universe. Feel like it hits and then the ptab hits, then there is pressure on the prostate. You try to relax the contraction, and the prostate gets grazed back over causing another contraction bumpety bump and if you get here, it kind of locks into this loop on all by itself. If you can hold that loop any time and keep breathing, Houston, we have lift off!
The k-tabs abilities are somewhat HYPERBOLE LOL. With contraction it presses onto the body and helps the aneros pivot,as well as stay in the correct zone inside. I think at one point it was claimed that this was some sort of super sensitive sex spot, but if I’m honest,as far as the the k-tab goes,I ain’t ever felt Jack.
I feel it's supposed to hit the base of the spine, or close to it, but just like the P-Tab it may not be right on the spot, or for some users, might not do anything at all even if it's located correctly. I only own Classics but most of them are Frankenstein's monsters at this point, I played with adding and removing various bits, and adding a K-Tab did change how the device behaved, but not enough to really make a difference in my case. There is some perceived side-to-side sweeping motion but it's pretty subtle.
Most of the time there was enough of a gap between the K-tab and my body that I could get a finger between the gap, even when fully inserted. It hardly ever made contact and only served to anchor the Aneros to the mattress and prevented it from moving freely, so I quickly made the decision to cut them off both my models. Maybe it's a skinny guy problem.
It seems for me the k-tab like every thing else on this journey, just revealed its secrets and a new pleasures. It just kind of snuck up on me. I can't remember why for some reason during a session I started to feel a slight warm feeling eminating from below my butt hole, as I focused on it, the sensations grew. I don't know how describe it was so erotic, not so much the physical, the mental state changed, like I was being made love to. Now I understand women who often don't orgasm, but still loved the sex.
I recommend to anybody to really try focusing on the feelings being generated by the k-tab, andsee if you can make them grow, you may get lucky like I did.
@tbob that is an excellent post. I think you are right on, I notice that feeling more with the syn model I have.
Until my very latest session I was one of those that found very limited use for the K-tab. In fact, I cut them off of most of the rigid models. I was recently using the EST and very definitely felt a positive effect from the K-tab. Really hard to describe the effect but I remember thinking "wow! It feels like it's making a triangle with my prostate at the top point." Instead of a mild distraction it turned into an asset. Of course I happened to be a tad bit higher on THC than I usually get so that may have amplified the sensation.
I find that sometimes I get a delightful buzzing in my lower back from the tab, more so from the MGX than the Eupho. It don't notice it every time, but sometimes the pleasure drifts into my consciousness.
I've been using njoy pure wand exclusively for a couple of weeks, and while it's fun and I can trivially reach my prostate - I don't experience rewiring. It's just the same experience every time, it doesn't get better with subsequent sessions unless I learn to use my wrist better.
I don't know if it's the p-tab, k-tab, or both, but they're responsible for rewiring.
@airbag I think the rewiring comes in the hands free operation, letting your body feel the pleasure and lock into the feedback loop that leads to superO. Both tabs play a role, and I love the trident designs and feel more "giddyup" going on, but I've experienced the super-o just the same with my old MGX and helix with the bobbed tail.
The K tab can provide lots of pleasure around the tailbone and lower back. For many years didn’t feel anything from it but recently everything lined up perfectly and wow! As someone mentioned the Syn trident models are very good for getting the action started! Once you have experienced the pleasure you will wonder how you missed it but guess it’s just part of the journey!
